Just a Dream

They were walking through the forest
when they heard a loud BANG!
They had thought no one was in the forest.
There was a long moment of silence
that was filled by an even louder BAM!

They decided they needed to turn around and go back home,
When they started to hear a faint hum.
Three of the trees in front of them SLAMMED down,
blocking their path, they had nowhere to go but back into forest.
There was a man hacking at a tree.
They asked him if he heard any strange noises,
as they asked him the question he faded away.

One of them heard a women shriek.
They all woke up as if nothing had just happened.

The Tragedy

Steve just wanted to go and mow.
He had just stubbed his toe.
He was in bad pain
It was in his brain.
For him it was his all time low.

The Anticipation

We sat there waiting
The turkey in the oven
Talking and laughing
Ready to eat the turkey
finally the oven rings.
