Forest Fire

The animals wailed to the almighty king of the jungle,
"We broke our slumber and found ourselves in flames of raging fire
Thee save my fawn from the danger,
Caused by the foolish sapiens".

The lord of the jungle leapt into the blazing fire
Hither and thither in search of the fawn,
Could not find it and got underneath the tree,
Wrenched in flames of the fire, with bruises all over.

The furies soon took over the soul of the mighty
And Hades rewarded Elysium to the dead
Said, "Oh mankind, what you did!"

Eye Smile

It's been so long
I've not been so right

I've been thinking about,
not so less but a million times

Runs in my mind
it's been a fairly small a long stretch of time

My fingers trace the keys and eyes scan the screen
it's such a calming and a blissful scene

The sparkle in your eyes, it does play a game,
played so well, it even puts a glistening diamond to shame

My heart is a void, it stares into space
it's secretly sentimental, running laps at a wonderful pace.

I wonder how do I satiate admittedly hypothetical heart of mine
how do I meet that sweetheart of mine.

Esse

[I work at an office,
with a fixed salary
to feed a family:
without a denial to hardwork
I work tediously
my little ones attend school routinely,
We solely wish necessities
neither comforts nor luxuries].

Dear me! I desire if it was true
but fellow humankind treat us erroneously.
It's arctic outside.
we wander the streets in austerity,
in rags; all cold and hungry
I implore the privileged for aid
but all futile,
The men of wealth treat us indifferently.

Now my words of present describe my past,
no more cold or hungry we are;
hostility of mankind is yet more painful
than slow death to starvation,
My family and I are long gone by
Oh mankind! a little help would have sufficed.

Terra Mater

The cosmic opus,
The nature offers it all.
enticing, ethereal, expansive
Are you enchanted by how vast it is?
refreshing, rejuvenating, relaxing.
Does it fascinate you to see the creation so invigorating?
It's Nature, an epitome of exhilaration and unceasing growth.

Never forget the labyrinthine it is,
It's tunnels coequals the branches of nature,
At each end,
invariably, something new awaits
So pick up the principles it purveys.

Loud Silence

We revel 75 years of Independence,
from colossal colonial rule
it was unanimous struggle
that helped us get through.
Entitled to rejoice this liberty,
but the conundrum is, Are we truly free?

Haven, ma chez
I listen
to my invisible guest
I do not speak, but wait,
then it slips away
leaving a tragic face.

I recollect merry mo;
Us: Pythias and Damon,
till he fell ill to eclipse of human reason.

Thou art still in shackles
if bound by civil perils:
ostracism, vandalism, arson
Bias and prejudice.

Had we raised voice,
his people wouldn’t have to suffer a great deal today.
Authority sits by,
Leisurely watching ruckus nearby.

All in noisy silence
Suffering place and time.

Adam's Ale

Water ; it's precious, runs in veins red and oceans blue,
the populace know it all-the significance of unfathomable water blue,
yet there is heaps and heaps of garbage,
scraps and remains high and low
 in placid tidal pool.
