There is no more fight in me
I can no longer hold on
Anything i had left inside
Is empty and gone
I will not explain myself
Just know that i am beat
I give up
I accept defeat
So many times
I believed all you said
Now i just wish
God left me dead
No more can i smile
Or hide all this pain
When alone my tears fall
Like a thunderstorms rain
So take all thats left
Whatever that maybe
Uncuff my from this life
God just set me free

She's to young to know
That living life involves way to much pain
She smiles in your face
Never been one who complains
While asleep she is still running
From everything that might be nothing at all
Today she might not know yet
No longer alone, I'm here to catch herwhen she falls
Like a broken peace of glass
That's been forgotten on the floor
She's been pieced back together
Lost in life moving forward but still unsure
But he's wants to be a rock for her
Someone she can count on and depend
Only payment he asks
Is that she accept he is her friend
He's knows the path
Already made it through life's maze
He wants to show she burns bright
That she can set the world a blaze
He wants her to catch her breath
Inhale all that's good
That she should take her time
Believing that what she feels is completely understood
No more running
For now there's nothing left to fear
He will show her all she needs to do
Simply believe in that person she sees clearly in the mirror

She's beautiful in so many ways
Yet she feels broken in so many more
She dreamt of different things
No idea of what life had in store
She wont let herself feel
Comfortably numb is where she stays
She wont tell you why
Cause she doesn't know what to say
She's given up on love
Happily ever after is only in books
But love hasn't given up on her
She'll know when she sees that look
She wants to care for all
While she forgets about herself
She doesn't want fortune or fame
She doesn't need wealth
She needs to lose herself
In someone else's eyes
Be loved like she dreamt of
Without having question why
She knows love for her family
Theres also love for a few choice friends
Finding love in the eyes where she got lost
Is when her happily ever after can begin

I've never seen anything so clearly
The way our life is supposed to be
Is filled with happiness
Because you decided to be near me
I found a job
Showed you I was grown
You found comfort and security
Knowing I'll provide without leaving you alone
We laughed till our face hurt
Stayed up way to late
Made a pact to each other
That we should always go on dates
Every morning I kissed
Like that day I knew love
Every night I kneeled and prayed
Thank the good lord up above
This is the way it was written
In all the books they'll read
So forever I stand beside you
Because I asked God if he would lead
