Cheyenne Ruble Poem
A butterfly kiss
upon my cheek.
As you give me
what I seek.
You whisper softly,
"I love you baby."
And kiss me sweetly
without the slightest maybe.
Your arms around me tightly
and I feel an explosion of sparks.
I lose my breath
as we listen to the beat of our hearts.
Oh, if only time could pause
and we could stay like this.
You and me forever
wrapped in this lovely bliss.

Cheyenne Ruble Poem
Without you I'd be lost in the dark,
for you are my Northern Star.
Without you I'd fall,
for you are the wind beneath my wings.
Without you I'd stop,
for you are the reason I keep going.
Without you I wouldn't be able to breathe,
for you are the air that fills my lungs.
Without you I'd be considered dead,
for you are the blood that makes my heart beat.

Cheyenne Ruble Poem
Broken-hearted little girl,
it's okay to hurt, to cry.
So much pain in a small world,
but you can handle it just try.
Lay your head down baby girl,
close your eyes and weep.
Just remember, it's okay to cry,
to cry yourself to sleep.
Broken-hearted little girl,
ignore the misery and pain.
Go ahead, no one's judging,
let your tears mingle with the rain.
Oh darling baby girl,
you've been through so much.
You'll meet Prince Charming,
you'll know by his healing touch.

Cheyenne Ruble Poem
I'm an ordinary girl,
livin' my life like everyone else,
walkin' through a crazy world.
Go to school, then go back home,
don't have a job, not yet anyways,
just tryin' to escape, to get out and roam.
I'm just an ordinary girl,
livin' my life like everyone else,
walkin' through a crazy world.
Sometimes I get hurt, sometimes I cry,
sometimes I feel left out, all alone,
and I always ask why.
'Cause I'm just an ordinary girl,
livin' my life like everyone else,
walkin' through a crazy world.
I'm an ordinary girl,
walkin' through a crazy world.
I'm just an ordinary girl.

Cheyenne Ruble Poem
As we lay him down to rest, we say our last goodbyes.
The parting words are hardest, as we send him up high.
The life of a child cut short, but he finally has his peace.
His mom cries and runs a hand down her dress, flattening a crease.
His voice comes to us, like the wind.
"Forgive me for what I have done, forgive me for my sin.
Do not weep for me, do not shed any tears.
Promise me one thing, that you will face your fears.
I love you all but I must go.
Remember me, but without the slightest woe."

Cheyenne Ruble Poem
These feelings drive me insane,
make me feel like I'm crazy.
Yeah, things will stay the same,
even when they are less hazy.
You got my head spinnin'
and you know it's true.
You know you're winnin',
'cause you got me lovin' you.

Cheyenne Ruble Poem
I miss the way you pull me close and tell me it's all right
I miss the way you stroke my hair and tell me not to cry
As the years go by the memory of you starts to fade
As if I'm stepping into the shade
The look of your face I start to forget
And I try not to fret
I know your not here today
But my world is turning gray
You are in my heart though
As I am beginning to grow
You are in a better place now
And for that I take a bow

Cheyenne Ruble Poem
Once beloved
is now forgotten.
Once cherished
is now despised.
Once a beauty
is now marred.
Once loving
is now hurtful
It is a tragedy,
started by lust,
morphed by lies,
ended by hate.
It's a broken love.

Cheyenne Ruble Poem
Every time I see you smile
it makes living my life worth while
Every time you look my way
your gaze makes my day
Every time I hear your voice
I feel I am making the right choice

Cheyenne Ruble Poem
Painful lies,
broken ties.
Burned down dreams,
razor-ed seams.
Hellish fire,
ruined empire.
Bloody cuts,
hopeless "buts."
Hurtful words,
"You deserve..."
Silent cries,
regretted goodbyes.
Baby, it's a World of Hurt.
