Open Spaces

Open Spaces
Sometimes the world gets hectic, and we desire an escape
I know of a place where stress is forgotten, and our worries are wiped away.
Open spaces can calm your mind and make you want to stay.
Smell the air, hear the birds, and take a moment to appreciate,
The feeling of rest and comfort, that keeps worldly worries at bay.
And remember this in times of trouble for it may help some day.

Family

Family
Sent as guides to lead us
Through life and its many trials.
To aid us in decision making
And give us advice worthwhile.
Not only do they harp and teach
But they also love and nurture.
Family is a blessing sent from up above
They bring us happiness and lots of love

Friends

Friends
(Something old and Something new)
Our friends are not people we are forced to like,
They are the ones we choose to be in our life.
They help us through the bad and the good,
From early on all the way to adulthood.
Some friends are given by God for just a while
To teach us a lesson or simply to make us smile.
Friends are something special, that we should appreciate.
Whether old or new they are all just as great.

Late Night Drives

Late night Drives
There is something about driving late at night thats freeing
It takes away your worries and ignites a special feeling
The air is refreshing, and the darkness brings about a calm
The silence of the world with only the hum of a song
A song that might be playing that adds to the tone
Late night drives are a gift about which everyone should know.

Summer

Summer
The sun shines bright,
The air is clean,
The temperatures are warm.
Every season comes with emotion,
And a summer night,
Brings out its truest form.
