Be You

Do you look at the sky
when it precipitates?
The originally watery form
is the real you.
Transparent and clear
While that cloudy frosty form,
when you are down,
opaques your identity.
The obsession
of considering others superior,
alienating yourself
blinds you
from appreciating the reality.
Remember
It's the rainbow
which adds colours to the sky
more commonly
not a snowbow

My Angel

I don't know from where to start
My feelings cannot be expressed in words
An endless number of thank you's
would be less to show my gratefulness
And I know, just one sorry after I commit
any mistake makes you more than happier.

When your lips form an upward parabola
I feel I am drifting in an ocean blissfully
But when it is a downward one
I feel I have sunk down in that deep ocean
Now you would have understood
What I want is you to always keep smiling.

You are an Angel for me
who bestowed me with this beautiful life
And the most adorable and prettiest
part of it is when
I am in your arms
and you are in mine
And we both using our whole energy
to hug the tightest!

Dear Daddy

I remember the day
your hands supported my cycle
for the last time,
showing me the world ahead
which cannot survive
on the paddle of dependency.

I remember the day
your shrimpy rebuke
corrected my inapt words
after which I started
disrespecting disrespect.

I remember the day
your shoulders grew enough
and so did my body weight
that I understood
now it'd be the time
for my shoulders to do for you.

I remember the days
your experiences implanted in me
the seed of integrity
which just like you
would never get old
But wiser and wiser day by day.

Under the Drops

Gazing at the twinkling dots
which dominated the black sky
surrounding the gibbous moon,
I was struggling in between
my thoughts of a regretful noon.

But then I saw
the dark sheet getting conquered
by huge blackish-white mass
and the silence was taken over
by the thumping thundering sass.

Those icy cool droplets
caused a vibration within me
when they trickled down my spine,
I went to a new place
which was all full of shine.

The watery pats which I got
on my cotton-covered back
sparked in me a new hope
that aborting here would not work
as the future is inevitable that I will have to cope.

The clapping leaves
and the dancing trees
lauded me for my previous victories
And here suddenly, I heard my mom
"Get up dear! how long will you live in your world of dreams?"

I Shall Be Able To

When you swell
your tender balloon
with the tense air
holding dense questions
Shall I be able to?
Think about the railway tracks
Parallel when near
Converging when distant
But eventually going closer
vanishes the intersection.
Be on the right track
Don't let the balloon burst
And say
I shall be able to.

Last Hope

In the ruined flower bed
when the hope
for the last rose to bloom
gets killed
Some sacrifice their lives
for their selfish fellows
And some learn to hide tears
for they possess another seed
to recuperate the beauty

The Voice of the Voiceless

I live in a roofless place
I do not have an expensive fur
You might not like the way
I feed myself
And I know, you neither like my presence
nor my appearance
as I'm
drowned with muddy paws
on a rainy day
juddering with runny nose
on a snowy day
and roasted with shiny dirty coat
on a sunny day
Yet under this already darkened
brightness of the sun
I'm wounded with heavy pebbles
and threatening rods
and the voices showing disgust.
I'm a stray
But I have a life too.
