Corruption

A tune of confusion it plays
A band of unity it scatters
The rhythm of peace it alters
The valley of harmony it erupts

A terrorist proven guilty it is
A hatcher of malice contrite it plea's
The judiciary of justice it bribes
A heart of disloyalty it breeds

A seed of hatred it sows
The fruit of vinegar it bears
The garment of brotherhood it tears
An enemy of progress it testifies

Take position and fight this threat
Before it begets a venomous throb.

Twist of Love

Sweater than honey love may seem
Its reality,bitter than ever imagined
A rain of happiness we suppose
it showers
Great floods of sorrow accompany
 its arrival
It can be a trusted guard to your path
It can also be the terrorist blocking
your escape
It can be the perfect healer to your
heart's wounds
It can also be the antidoteless poison
 darkening your heart
It can be your anticipated beautiful
 Spring
It can also be the sad Autumn after your
Spring
Love can actually make you whole
It also owns the power to break you all
In its hand lies the jurisdiction to
 reformation
At its fingertips resides the sway to
 deformation

Beware! The sea of love is a dangerous
one
Great and mighty are the tides to combat
You can either drown,or you can survive
The latter is almost impossible, not really
 impossible
Clothe yourself with the wetsuit of patience
It keeps you going throughout the tides
Guard your heart with the lifejacket of
perseverance
It keeps it afloat not to drown in pain

The Call

Awake,listen!The echo's in the land,
The call to humanity quakes the
global root,
The roses in respect bow,for the
call's so grand;
A voice of resolution to the corroded
planet.
Quick!Exeunt the podium!
Inter the rainment
That beams with injustice and racism,
Inequality and violence,act so
despondent.
Come, let's flee the myth of origin
And embrace the aura of equality,
Hurry! Let's enclasp the perfection
of creation
And rid off the traces of disparity,
Run!Help heed the call,
And elude the presumed fall.

A Lovely Memory

By the side of the mountain
I stand quietly,watching from
a distance
The valley of our roaring laughter
Our used-to-be musical arena
Where the ground deemed helpless
but to dance in happiness
The roses optionless,but to bow
 in respect
The songs we sung, the rythmns we
alternated with our heroic voices
A place where we composed the verses
As the wind chipped in with Angelic choruses

The crimson sunshine glow
Embraces my melanin forehead
Triggering the composition of my mindset
Flashing back in,all the joyous moments
we shared
With no particular scene to spare
The serenity of the air we inhaled
The rythmitical melodious colabo we made
Rendering the nightingale bird choiceless
but to cloud in jealousy
Still all, abide by me like a shadow
With no significant signs of fading soon

Your looming shadow of rejoice
The echo of your vibrant smile
Still rings a bell in my heart
And this I promise you
Even in your absence
The reflection of sorrow, will know not
my existence
For happiness was our daily vocabulary
A steering wheel,it gets me going
Until the journey of two
Is achieved by one, clouded in the shadow
of the other

Don'T Be the Reason

Don't be the reason,to why someone looses faith
in the value of family
Don't be the reason,to why someone looses interest
in the value of friendship
Don't be the reason,to why someone looses hope
in the existence of love
Don't be the reason,to why someone find it worthless
to cherish the aura of parenthood
Don't be the reason,to why someone find it valueless
to tread the path of righteousness
Don't be the reason,to why someone looses faith in the existence of God and the power of His might
Don't be the reason,to why someone's feet moves steadily
to the gallows of suicide
Don't be the reason,to why someone's knee and the ground
have formulated the best of friendly ties
Don't be the reason,to why someone's eye deems with nothing but seemless unending streams
Don't be the reason,to why someone's life drowns in nothing
but the pool of excruciating pain

Take guard!Your ego may marvel at all these
But your conscience will forever wander like a helpless
hopeless refugee
If you can't be someone's source of additional smile
don't be the reason for their endless multiple sorrow
And if you can't be the the light to their jungled path,
don't be the darkness that cloud their life.

I'Ll Rise Some Day

When respect becomes a dreaded dream
Acceptance,unending nightmare
When the world grows bigger
My existence,almost unnoticed
Like a wasted worthless salt
Laid at the corner of some deserted castle
Only to be remembered oftenly
When option becomes a compromised choice
I still believe this,I'll rise some day

When the dawning showers me periodically
With suffocating boutiques of struggle
And the night, blankets me to a deep slumber
Chock-full of harrowing pains
When my morning chorus seems suffering
And the midday hymn booms with stagnation roses
I still believet this,that I will rise
Slowly it may seem, but surely I will
Because my clinging tree is hope
Tiny as a mustard seed
But deep rooted like Abraham's faith.

The Magic of Courage

It gets you going, even after a stumble
It gathers you up,even after you crumble
It gives you strength, amidst a struggle
And whispers to your soul, you're indestructible

Cling onto firmly, your steps will never fumble
Unlike the usual game, the tricky play of marble
Proving winning unguaranteed, rather a series of gamble
Learn to hold on tight, you'll find no cause to mumble

Rare is this magic proven, seek with no step to spare
And this I guarantee, smile will forever be your daily wear

The Silent Ululation

Listen Africa,oh my motherland
May epitome of beauty,my extollation
You listen;inhabitants of my nobleland
How did we reach this destination?

On a podium I stand
A place weary,scary;no one dares!
A plea I forward;
Hear my brothers' silent ululation
To his heart keeps to himself
The pain,depression and struggle
Like a shooting arrow they attack
To his heart,mercilessly they strike
But why do they silent?
Is it that no one ever care?

A philosophy the whirlwind to our ears
blew
'A boy child need be strong'
When depression bends low his back
Struggle breaks down his might
And pain to his body scar
'A boy child need be strong'

Stealthily near I drew
To my brothers' silence silently I
listened
Unanticipatedly this heard it speak:
"Mother Africa you're without blemish
Albeit your motherhood is without
anguish
Your offspring are without justice
In the duel for my sister's crown
Ended they,crippling my throne
Like an epidemic of the century
Worth nothing but traceless elimination
Fighting me they do with determination
No care,no spare

The age 18 they await
Like a beacon of the day to react
Deserting me like a jungle
In my kingdom I fumble
My way out I've to struggle
The philosophy servile I've become

Mother Africa I pray you arise
Heading only you can to my cry
Seeing only you I trust,to my plight
And healing only you can to my scar
Arise!Save your legacy
For none like me ever has been found
Treading on this valley of silent suffering".

Exeunting the podium I am
So this echoingly I'll urge
Let's war not against gender
But with determination for splender
The lust for superiority let's inter
And let equality all bat for
For you needn't drag another
Just to up a ladder.

It's All About Character

When your character is with stain
No matter how hard you strain
All your struggle is forever in vain

Dear Life

In your path as we stride
Please let us;allow as strive
For with all might we long to be fine
Admist odds, we've got to shine

Our hearts with hot coal burn
With dreams, too strong to be foregone
Success being our utmost pinnacle
Please bring not,our way an obstacle

Pain is the wave we fight
In the end,we hope to delight
For our suffering cannot be in vain
After all,we aspire to gain

So dear life,be not a mice
Change your face,be once nice
