Rose Mallick Poem
'Oh God! from where to start'
Is what comes first in my mind,
When I sit for a grand dine;
Who cares about getting fat,
Who cares about gaining weight,
When the soul and the tongue
Together craves for the ultimate taste. Momos, cutlets, fish fingers or burgers,
Are like a divine blessing to all the foodies,
And are the mind delighter as starters.
No it's really difficult,
To keep out panipuri, idli, dhokla and vada
Out of my craving list;
Seriously nothing can fetch me immense pleasure,
Other than a mega feast.
Whenever I step out of my house,
I can't resist myself from trying out
The dishes of those roadside stalls,
And if not that then at least
Some cookie, chocolate or chips from malls,
Surely will have a space in my stomach at any cost.
Perhaps every foodie thinks in such a way,
Till the time you live,
Give your taste a treat everyday.
Anything like healthy or junk doesn't matter,
When am happy to see that food served on my platter;
After all it's me who will enjoy that aesthetic taste,
So it's not that bad,
To have the tag of foodie written on my face.
