Castle of Dreams

As I lay my head on my pillow, my eyes shut to the world, I
feel a "presence" of another world calling out to me. I open
my eyes and see myself dressed in purple velvet and
walking along a moat of wild flowers and tall grass. I hear
sounds of trumpets and see soldiers riding in on majestic
horses. I look up to find myself amongst a castle grounds,
with towers peeking out of the evening mist. Once again, I'm home...home at
Raglan Castle.

Half Moon Bay

I have this special place where no one ever goes, so I can think of different things and
no one ever knows.
Half Moon Bay, they call it, waters calm and warm. Hypnotized by ripples wide, birds fly
over in swarms.
I often think of troubles past and evaluate my mind. So often they'd confront me and not
be very kind.
Reflections on the water seems to illuminate my thoughts. Past, present and future and
things that I forgot.
This special place lies beneath my head in all its splendor, you see, a bottled up
reminiscense that I can only be.

Black Rose

She sits at her mirror brushing her hair, dressed in black velvet with just the right
flair.
She puts on her makeup with ever an ease, ready for the night, ready to please.
She picks up her flower and closes the door, its sunset this evening, who could ask for
more?

She walks through the tall grass with a graceful pose, she bends down to lay her perfect
black rose.
She wipes the tears that fill up her eyes and visions of the past marquis the skies.

He was her love, her dream come true, but God said "now I have to take him from you".
She wanders back home and enters the door, pictures of him scattered all over the floor.
Upstairs she ascends, ready to sleep, with visions of him, she begins to weep.

She lays on the bed, not a sound to be heard, she whispers, "I love you" but he never
utters a word.

Manhatten Skyline

As the moonlight reflects the gentle waters of the city river, we find ourselves running
through the streets, not looking back, holding onto each other as though our lives
depended upon it.
Darting past Mr. Rossi's pet store, the cries of animals not yet adopted, the sweet aroma
of Mrs. Brown's french bakery, where many a french loaf has been set on our dinner table.
The serene sounds of the night whispering in our ears, we hide among the trees in the
park.
All of a sudden sirens are heard, the shrill of the sounds of the night.
Fire trucks zoom past us like a bolting light surpassing the sound barrier.
People are rushing down the streets, panic has occurred in this instance
and we are among the crowd.
A few minutes later, as the streets become tranquil, we continue on our journey into the
night.
As we leap onto fences our minds wander back to the peaceful waters
that called to us to this magical place.
Are we hiding from them? Could we be hiding from ourselves?
only time will know...

Longing

The valley is a foggy mist playing upon the rhapsody in my mindless existence.

I cannot go on without your eternal being embellishing the love that brought us together.

I cannot fight these trojans anymore. I feel empty, unjustly relinguishing to the fact
that you are no longer here on earth.

I long for your embrace, to heal my wounds. My very existence depends upon you, my love.
My body weak, my mind continues to be strong.

Take care my sweetness, for I will return to your loving arms in eternity some day...some
day..

I'Ve Become

Under southern rays of yellow,
 Beneath billowy fluffs of grey;
 Across the span of time rivoting dance,
 I've become.

 Sprays of lavender kissing my shoulders,
Fragrance of vanilla intertwines in time;
Youth crosses over with ageless antiquities;
 Fantasy becomes reality, obscure and unseen.

Solemn songs unite unhurled fate;
 Waters calm reaching out forcing tranquil thoughts, pure and free;
 I've become.

Sedentary life betrays the stillness of the night. Mindswept thoughts perceive
endless hope, raptured caress forces careless ideology.
 I've become a woman.

Moment

The moment I laid my eyes on you, I knew that we would become great friends.
Tranquility of peace bathing on the waters of life.
Your gentle eyes shining brightly upon the man-made river, and the calm breezes from the
south.
You have become my mentor, my king upon all mankind.
Your strength to pursue the "heights".
As I dream of better, my mind swiftly draws on you, your courage, your masterful yet
whimsical projection of another land full of mystery and ambition.
As I am still guarded, I find myself dwelling in the mystic land of yours.
Show me the way to your moment in time.....show me your passion.
