Yet death remains

I am death.

I’m in the loss of my beloved dog,
not as the grim reaper but in the tears.
In the death of the beloved.

In the stillness of my mother
circling the same disappointments of my father.
In the death of letting go.

In the silence
when betrayals pierced my heart
and the search for my soulmate
became a lie.
In the death of seeking love.

Not in the loud cries
when my grandmother died,
but in the eyes that stood dry
at her funeral,
emotionless.
In the death of all emotions.

I am death.
Death is the end of all things, everywhere, every time —
yet death itself remains eternal.

For you, I shall

For your sake, this heart that isn't even close to me, I shall make it yours.
If you come and reside within me, I shall turn that very heart into a temple.
Weaving a swing from your dreams, I shall rock you upon it from dawn to dusk.
But who am I in front of you? For you, I shall lose myself completely.
If the stars refuse to befriend me, I shall steal them from the moon and name them after you.
Even if you wish to walk upon a withered graveyard, I shall bloom into flowers along your path.
And if you wish to sleep but find no cover, I shall spread my body as the softest blanket for you.

Tere khatir yeh dil jo mere hi kareeb nahi, use bhi apna loon
Tu jo aake bas jaye mujhme, ussi dil ko mandir bana loon
Khwabon ke tere jhoola bana kar, sawere shaam tujhe uspe jhula doon
Khair tere saamne main hoon bhi kya, tere khatir main khud ko gawa doon
Taare jo naa dost ho mere, chaand se unhe chura ke tere naam kar doon
Murjhe kabristan pe tu chalna bhi chaahe, toh main tere raaston main phool ban jaun
Tu sona chahe agar aur chadar na mile kahi, mere jism se tujhe narm chadar bichaa jaun

The Butterfly Effect

I'm just a girl who's still a caterpillar
Hoping one day people will see
Will see my potential of breaking through the cocoon

Waiting for that glamourous growth
From inside my little transparent home
Hoping I'll find something that's mine,
After I break the barriers of my own

Waiting for that amazing moment
When I come out of the comfort zone
Hoping they see my body has grown
Hoping they see my life has shone

Waiting to grab everything I can
And not counting my days anymore
Hoping they don't cut off my wings
Hoping they don't tie me back down

I'm just a girl who's now a butterfly
Hoping that freedom is my forever throne

He

HE traced my flaws, read my tattoos
Pulled hard on my piercings
Ran his fingers through my hair
His bite marks on my neck
Next moment, HE thought of her
And walked away
But I couldn't ask him to stay
Left me like a lonely toy
In his lustful world
I was waiting for him
Though it was unfair
For a **** in love

Hey

Our first 'Hey'
When we both sat in the rain
When the clouds were quite moody
Yet my eyes were gloomy
We looked at the moon together
And shared our stories with the stars
I gave up on all the pain
And slowly burried all my scars
I fuelled my life with every smile of yours
I loved that you were mine
Will I still get to see the eyes
That look at me and shine
The words you told became my poetry
The songs u chose became my playlist
I called you my precious gift
And I became a treasurer
Never did I notice when the world turned upside down
Never did I ever think, they'd come for my beautiful crown
We were present and we were perfect
But now they'll rob me till I fall
Cuz when you'll be taken away
I'll lose a part of me, after all.

How do I get back up
How do I stand tall
How do I fix a broken string
So you can hear me call
You'll be with someone else
Someone whose love will be your gain
I'll go for another first "Hey",
Finding myself in the same convo all over again

RUBY

The deep red of power and courage
The bright red of knowledge and wisdom
The fiery red of energy and vitality
The pleasing red of health and wealth
The lustrous red of Love and passion

After withstanding the high temperature, I emerge as a fine gem.
After going through high pressures, I shine as an exquisite jewel.
After an intense process, I become Priceless.

I sparkle of purity and honor
I reflect the essence of confidence and leadership
I behold nobility and loyalty

I am rare and refined
I am precious and priceless
I am valuable and irreplaceable

Over my dead body

If one day Death came to your door
I'll make sure that before he steals your soul
It'll be me who he has to pass through
So when I'll go up there before you
I'll tell every star in the night sky
To form the stairways when you come by
I'll paint the moon so bright
That it feels like she has her own light
So you will never need the darkness to hide
And always rise like the booming tide
You will leave the earth feeling sore
How it shall lose something so pure
The colour palettes would turn monochrome
But I'll see you up there in our new home

Weaver's collection

A castle full of mouths that talk about you
They tell me your vices that aren't true
But all my ears listen are the words my heart speak of you
So I dedicate this piece of cloth to crochet something I always knew
As the ball of the yarn unravels
Our moments flow like a film

So I pass a warp through a pearl
A pearl I sew in your name
For every tear that rolled down my face
You became the tearsmith of this game

The warp looks for a Ruby
A Ruby I sew in your name
For every Rage that hammered the nails on my fence
Yet I built a home for us in my defence

As a Warp of tricot is sewn
The green Emerald shines
For every bright smile that u brought me by
You became the star in my sky

Emerged from the garden, a beautiful Lily
Just the way the loom yearns for this beauty
My amethyst appears subtly
How you bring the tint of blush on my cheek, gently

A kiss on the kneedle as I pass it through
The moonstone who is as passionate as you
For every touch you carved on my skin
For the first ever glance that let our story begin

Staying true to all my desires
I knit in this rare sapphire
With all these dreams you bring me of our empire
You unleash this heart to be set on fire

The strong clear diamond stands alone
As I weave in this last gemstone
It reflects our bond bright
Together we become infinite

Stone by stone, stitch by stitch
The gemstones all align
Now my life hangs by a thread
The mouths in the castle are silenced
And they slowly transform into eyes
Eyes that witness my emotions
Emotions weaved into Stories
Call me Penelope
As I weave an irreversible Tale
A Tale of You and Me

Imposter

Lies. All lies
You are lying
But do you also realise u are lying to urself
Who have you become
Where have you gone
And look how you are right now
You hang out with liars who normalise lying
They lie day in and day out,
Defending themselves that they just lie lesser
And you, of them all, are the worst
Well, you have lied to yourself, haven't you
You have become an imposter of your own identity trying to create these stories.
You're just a loser who couldn't own your emotions
You've just fallen into a loop of creating stories and reactions but your own feelings seem to have been lost where you can't find them.
Isn't it sad how you based off yourself on someone's else's action.
Is she still in your head so much that you put on a cloak of someone you want to be.
You're on your guard 24/7 and restlessly try to be savage, an alpha.
But your heart isn't quite that, is it?
You know your heart is somewhere it doesn't belong. In a place nobody cares, wants, knows your heart like she did.
She did know it, didn't she?
How miserable it is that you just want a replacement. How pitiful that you dishonour her behind her back and yet still crave what she had given you.
How mercilessly you boasted on your status and how unfortunately you lost it all in few months.
However, Congratulations, you're a liar.

Can a Man?

Can a man change?
Can a man really forget his own self for a woman
Can a man really put himself in the shoes of the sacrifices the woman makes
Can a man understand the difference between controlling and jealousy
Can a man know his mistakes and be honest
Can a man be sorry for his actions and not sorry for being caught
Can a man choose not to seek love in another woman's arms that does not remind him of his lover
Can a man go beyond his limits for her
Can a man call her pretty by his actions and not just words
Can a man be twisted, turned, bent and burnt in a woman's ecstasy
Can a man really miss a woman when he watches others with their partner
Can a man remember his woman when he is reminded of home
Can a man want her
Can a man need her
Can a man trust her and trust in the level that he chooses to listen to her
Can a man really go down on his knees
Can a man also crawl at night
Can a man beg and plead just for his woman to be pleased
Can a man understand her thoughts when her mind is full of bricks and blocks
Can a man really be deserving second chance
Can a man man-up for his woman
Can a man add masculinity and let his woman be feminine
Can a man come to terms with his feminine side and show it to her openly
Can a man really feel his heart beats loud when she's around
Can a man fall to his feet as if he lacks her touch
Can a man understand that understanding her is important but you don't really NEED to understand her but LOVE her instead
Can a man really just choose to love her
Can a man really Love...?
