Despicable Me

Despicable Me.
           For using any obstacle.
          They erect in my pathway.
As a pebble and not a mountain.

           Despicable Me.
          That I don’t crumble.
          In front of my frenemies.
          But joyful singing.
          They are anticipating,
Waiting to see if I am drowning.
                  But it is ok.
              I have God in me.
             They don’t know
             On troubled water.
         I prefer to dance gracefully.

               Despicable Me.
            For not competing.
           With lies and deceit.
        But undisturbed doing my work.
The eagle, in me, patiently waits.
          The storm reached its peak.
Before I spread my majestic wings.
And when the dark clouds gather,
            I am swiftly taking off.
           And above the storm,
               I am soaring.
Become one with the roaring thunder,
               And lightning.

                 Despicable Me.
                  For seeing.
With my optic eyes, far ahead
               Their evil schemes.
                Which was planned.
            In their mind, they won.
But I have news for them.
             A war had just begun.
I don’t hail to no Caesar or Hitler.
                But only to Jesus.

Time Traveler

One night, at midnight he came to me,
Telling me it’s time to leave.
What he is offering will place the world at my disposal,
My life will be much greater if I accept his proposal

But he will give me an opportunity, to play a game of chess,
The price at stake was my life or success.
The rules are fair, if I take the dare.
But if I lose I had to choose.
I had to play the queen, and if I win his time machine,
He will bid me goodnight, and my future will be bright.

Rule1: Go back to your past, changed all your mistakes,
There is no in between breaks.

Rule 2: He gives me only one day to rewrite my history,
              To claim victory.

Rule 3: Next I had to go to the future,
To see what I changed in my past, if it still last.

Rule 4: Come back to the present,

And tell him do I deserves to go to hell or heaven.
When I woke up from this nightmare, definitely not a dream,
I know it was time to take every moment to live in my present,
Spread kindness and love to secure a place in heaven.

Hamba Kahle

Hamba Kahle my dear friend.
I wish we had more time,
To use the wind and sail,
              Across the seven seas.
Or spread our wings and fly,
              Explore all our beautiful dreams.

                But God knows why.
And when it is our time.
               So please be my guide,
As you step into the light.

                  Keep an eye on me.
                  I know I will feel,
                  Your presence near,
When the wind plays with my hair.
Goodbye, I promise not to cry.

A Box of Smarties

Welcome, to my country.
      Where we experienced load shedding.
      No Wi-Fi, petrol sky high.
Politicians fighting battles to stay on top,
Less money for you to shop.

The poor has to beg and plea,
Daily on every corner and street.
While politicians’ lives a rich life,
From tax payers, they milk every dime.

We are a box of smarties,
While politicians sleeps with different parties.
During election they pick and choose,
    Which color to use.

We are not the rainbow nation anymore,
Some parties’ mayhem caused it for sure.

Protea Meaning: Diversity, Change, and Courage

She is a beauty that stands out for her uniqueness and diversity.
Who is very bold and brave and embraces any changes, nature creates.
Her people put her on a pedestal and crown her as their queen.
Not only for her striking bewitching but mostly for her courage.

She is a phoenix who rises from the ashes.
Her outstanding resilience protects her children,
With her dormant buds, she emerges after she burns down.
Always open to continuous challenges and transformation.

She is admired by the world,
      For her endurances and radiances.
And won a lot of titles at international competitions.
But is indigenous to her country and is chosen as a national emblem.

With a perfect root system, she can survive, in any soil.
And still blossom in splendor, the eight wonders.
Of her country and her species, as she rises every morning,
At the foot of Table mountain.

Undying Love

Tonight, at the foot of the bed,
                She is watching.
                How peaceful he is sleeping.
                Wondering if he ever thought,
                Of that crucial night.
                That changed their lives.

He took off in a speed,
                After revealing his secret.
End up in a hospital bed,
In need of a heart transplant.

                Rushing to be with him,
                       Her life end,
                With a fatal accident.
               Brain dead, they said.

              Now her heart is beating,
                      In his chest.
             Feeling lost and betrayed,
                    She came to claim.
              What is rightfully hers.
                While he is sleeping,
                 Next to his lover.

If she couldn’t have him in the living,
            While they both were alive.
Then it’s time he must die.
            They made their vowels.
             'til death do us part.

I'M Taking a Stand

I’m taking a stand.
I want the whole world to know,
I will shout from the rooftops and mountains.
That I am a Jesus Christ fan.
He is my Savior, King of all kings.

     I’m taking a stand.
    Against all the celebrities,
    Beyoncé, Madonna, and everyone else.
You can blaspheme against my God.
    You can mock my Jesus,
Turn the symbol of my faith upside down.
Soon you all will feel the wrath of God.

    I’m taking a stand.
To spread the gospel of Jesus.
He died for my sins on the cross of Cavalry,
What did your Baal do for you?

    I’m taking a stand.
To proclaim Jesus is the son of God.
    I will exalt His name.
    Soon He is coming, to
Through the dark prince and his minions,
In the deep pit of hell.

    I am taking a stand.
    I am not afraid,
To say, I believe in Jesus.

I Want To Go Home

It is very dark and cold,
How had I ended up on this desolate road?
I still remembered packing my bags,
           I wanted to go home.
Now I am standing here alone,
Waiting for someone to give me a ride,
Why does every car pass me by?
         And where is my phone?
     I still remembered phoning home,
         Talking to mum and dad,
Telling them, I will come home.
He does not want to stop with his affairs.

What am I doing on this road?
Why am I getting so very cold?
My head is throbbing very severe,
My heart is beating very slowly.
Why could nobody see me out here?
I am standing in the middle of the road,
With a heavy suitcase in my hand,
They can obviously see I am stranded

Why could I not remember what happened?
      After he enters the room.
      Finding me packing my suitcase,
           Telling him I am leaving.
I remembered he turned around, exiting the room.
All I heard was a big bang and screaming.
            What happened then?
     I cannot remember anything.
Mum and dad must be worried,
     Wondering where I am.
          I want to go home,
I don't want to be on this road alone

What are all these people doing out here?
Ambulance and police cars, looking for something.
              Why don’t they see me?
Please I want to go home.
Mum, Dad, why are you here?
Not seeing me standing in front of you?
Why are you two screaming and crying?
          Whose body are they carrying?
Did they find it here, on this desolate road?
                    Mum, dad I am here!
                    I want to go home.

My Journey My Life

Y- Young and innocent I was, that was great memoirs of my past.

J- Joyfully as a prankster back then, I had so many friends.
O-Ordinary mundane life was boring, I was an adrenaline junky.
U- Underdog of my siblings, I was not welcome in their company.
R- Relationships with my friends was ok for me, they were my family.
N-Never a dull day in my life, every opportunity was extraordinary.
E-Exceptional scholar at school, although some teachers I took for a fool.
Y-Young and restless years were great then I made the worst mistake.

M-Married at a young age and endured every time a husband raged.
Y-Yearning, back for my carefree life, especially when I thought I would not survived.

L-Life threw many curve balls at me, most of the time I was unhappy.
I-Independency was gone, I was married to an evil spawn.
F-Fight or flight I had to choose, or my life I would lose.
E-Eureka!! I build a new life for me, I am happy at least.

Wonderland

Like Alice, I was curious and went through the rabbit hole.
Expecting to find a white rabbit welcoming me, in Wonderland.
Instead, something that looks like one said hello.
Wearing a dress with all the colors of the rainbow.

I said, Hello sir can you please take me to Madhatter for tea?
Very angry he stomped his foot and told me,
“I am not a “He” but a “She” you are in the land of the free.”
     “Everything goes except Christianity.”
Oh, I said that is sad but can you still take me?
I followed him and we stop at an old oak tree,
Where a table was set with delicious cakes and tea.
I saw a big flower hat and a man at the opposite end.
Dressed in chiffon with high heels and lipstick,
I was welcomed by she/him, sorry I said I am confused.
      Who are you?

“Silly girl”, he said can’t you see I am non-binary?
During the day I can be a he or she and even they.
“Get into the program if you want to stay,”
Oh, no I am only a visitor for the day, I said
I was looking for Cat in the Hat.
“At the palace of the king of spades,
You are still known as the queen of hearts,
Cat lives with Humpty Dumpty who is her sweetheart.”

Very surprised I was stopped by men dressed in black,
Short skirts, black stockings, and stiletto boots.
“Off with her head, off with her head”, they all said.
“She is one of them who say Jesus is her King.”
Then I woke up from this horrible dream.
