Pacing My Head

A mind keeps racing
around the clock
Tic laughs historically
watching me chase toc
It’s time for rest
but thoughts won't stop
Head tells self go take a nap
stat to finish defiantly stubborn
Dusk promise west setting
moon will twinkle above glowing
Dawn swears east rising
sunrays all radiate beyond shining
Can’t help that failure
actually fears success
Numbness relieving stress
unable to relax comfortably
Send an insist sincerely
lay down or pay dearly
More than likely he's right
probably best to take his advice
Body's weak physique grows old
craving attention ignoring affection
Never hurry any decision
listen first understand completely
Ask immediately answer own question
is my poem insight useful or worthless
A point is having a good reason
why even try staying awake writing
Believing guilt far past betrayal
world wispers nate hears just give up
Eyes regardless will not close
persistently prefer remaining wide open
Sweat filled pillow dripping
oddly cold when wet while saturated
Energy overwhelmed extreme exhaustion
eradicating normal logical thinking
Life's been overtaken consumed by doubt
depression provoking nonstop narcolepsy
Absolutely lost precipitously irritated
slightly becoming impatiently aggravated
Obviously confused oblivious feeling crazy
induces lucid delusional sleep deprivation
Deprive mind taught sanity's overrated
lunacy's final destination full blown insomnia

Wondering Thought

Walking in the rain, feels like freedom running
Thunder in the night, knocking on your window
Sleeping way past noon, stays up late every night
Glimmer of the eyes, relax and rest your mind
Shadows across the wall, yet not at all afraid
Can’t sleep a wink, guess I'll jog out in the storm
Even though you know, but still don’t understand
Surrounded by beauty, blinded by our phones
Why ask questions, that always go unanswered
Society said obey, nope the world is my playground
Probably angry with me, lets be friends anyway
People have each other, I'm completely alone
Most go one direction, I’m going the other way
I'm told act like them, forget it I'm not normal

Grain of Sand

It's the ocean's sea surging from rip tide to

steady, regardless our world ignoring ideas.

The elusive thought creates ripples

reaching out further discovering nothing

---- ---- ----

Why do we need post emphasizing that we

must love, understand, and forgive? Then

see someone struggling while quietly

murmuring, better you than me

---- ---- ----

Seems like a loner realizes first, a simple

grain could be unique. Even when

surrounded by judgement whispered from

people lying who pretend to be your friend

---- ---- ----

Conform like others choke on sand fitting in,

some rely on convenient for comfort of

safety in numbers. When ones that are

alone become independent not lost

---- ---- ----

Positively empty yes, uncomfortable I admit

divulge in emotion distracting self-defeat.

Believe in hope acknowledge self worth

I want someone close yet can't trust anyone

Existence

Wasted our wealth
breaking the circle of life
so generations diluted minds
could be polluted with toxic thoughts.
As time revolves around
a changing existence.
World won’t stop spinning,
instead continues turning for a good reason.
Believing completely with no doubt,
keeping full trust in it’s own self.
Walk through embers,
if pain is what it takes
to truly appreciate feelings.
How can you expect compassion
from another’s understanding,
but refuse to show remorse
for anyone other than yourself?

Suffocation

Soul on fire fueled by deceit, insanity assumed power while fear controls our streets. Who can we follow when there's no one left in charge. Despite quiet whispers repeating another dead end.
I remain heartbroken but chest is still beating hard. Miserable at best hearing echoing confessions, self neglecting guilt, war is supposed to fight for a cause. This will never be over the world’s conflicts won't ever end.
Some will argue against anyone, it's like pissing in the wind. Always has something to say just stop no one cares. Riots consume towns, every politician says you can trust me. They swear everything's okay then why are people still suffering?
Toxic lies in the air as government enforces suffocation, oxygen everywhere, but there's mandatory mask asphyxiation. Plenty air out there, but not allowed to breath. Sacrifice any thing willing for a war not worth our nation bleeding.
