Maps Marisan Poem
The fortune teller foretold
Of heartache and cold
Like the fates of old
She said she knew things untold
But my future
Is in my hands alone
So I paid her fee
And went on my way
I bid her farewell
Me and Santiago

Maps Marisan Poem
Luna hears you speak of me
And whispers all your secrets
In my dreams
Through my windows
She tells me what you see

Maps Marisan Poem
Once upon a time
A girl gave a boy a star
One that fell from afar
She said to him
You are unique.
And he replied
With a cowardly sigh.
She said to him
You are written in the stars.
And he replied
With a mumbling sound.
I gave you endless wishes
She said to him
Never again search the heavens
For a falling star
And all he said to her:
“I wish you kept it instead”
And with a whispering sound she said:
“I wish we never met”
And still
I gave a boy a star…
