Maria Cristina Colima Poem
It maybe just one word to hear
But so effective like a medicine
Imagine if a person is sad, a smile
could turn his whole day around
and make him happy from being mad.
If someone has nothing to give
To such needy fella who is in need
In need of comfort from his grief
A smile can also be a big help
As a first aid to make someone be relieved.
Hey my friend, would you concede?
If there is a stranger we want to speak.
We can also use a smile as first greet;
Or if we caused pain to anyone
We can also use it to reconcile.
Of all those things i said above
Is there anyone who understands
we have a power to mend a broken heart
By our sweet smile that comes from the heart
Just make it gentle, make it bright!

Maria Cristina Colima Poem
So many times I thought about yesterday
A day that I was innocent in every way
When I was just a little girl who was playing all day
And just cried when someone ruined my day.
A little girl who turned into a teen;
That time I started to dream of beauty
Where I can only see kindness and humility
Which reminds us that love can give as free;
Now I became a little lady;
Today I dream of time that has no pain
A time that only love will prevail
No insecurities, no anger, no evil things!
But there is one question remaining unanswered
How could all these someday be real?
If I see people fighting here and there,
Oh my God they are everywhere;
I am hoping and always praying
Whoever read this simple poem
Would be reminded that God is real;
He sacrificed His son for us to be forgiven.

Maria Cristina Colima Poem
Many years ago I was living with depression
And all I wanted was just to be alone
But now I found myself smiling with no reason
Funny that sometimes you're in my imagination
Tell me, did you use any potion?
I can"t even explain all actions that I'm doing
Even I am busy, it is YOU that I'm thinking
Rereading your messages makes me feel interesting.
Missing you so much if not receiving your letters
Tell me, why I have these feelings?
Looking at your photos doesn't make me feel boring
'Till I found myself daydreaming like a teen
The joy in my heart, I can feel it is flowing
Despite of the fact that you are just a dream
Because I know we are too far from each other.
I am trying to ignore it but I can't
Wonderin’ how and when it started;
With mixed emotions "scared and excited"
Guessing if what would I find at the end
Askin myself if I'm ready for another pain
Tell me, do you feel the same?
This happiness I am trying to hide
Even I don't speak, you can see it in my eyes
Even I don't admit, my heart confesses it
Now all I want is to see your face in a portraits
Tell me, how could I deny these feelings?

Maria Cristina Colima Poem
Inside of me, there are words
that want to come out;
Words that detained me in sorrow and in pain;
For so many years it bound me in despair
and led me to live in a world full of dismay;
In my mind there are memories I want to fade;
In my heart there is a wound I want to be healed;
With all those nightmares, I almost gave up to live.
I wish I could shout out those words today
Release all torments to be free someday
Let these tears flow untill it gone away
I want to be free and be healed, I pray!
So let me shout out those words all day!
Release me and let me be free today!
I'm not your slave! Let me be free today!
You don't own me! Let me be free today!

Maria Cristina Colima Poem
Hey, you husbands, please listen to this tale,
She is more than a servant, beyond the coffee's trail.
Not just a masseuse for your aching back,
She is your PARTNER, a bond that you should not lack.
Once more I repeat: To all men who forget, SHE'S NOT A MAID!
Listen up, your partner's value shouldn't fade.
More than a servant in your coffee's charade,
She's your EQUAL, a bond that should never downgrade!
Don't forget that from your RIB'S EMBRACE, she was born,
A tale divine, a FRAGILE BUT STRONG WIFE in the quiet morn.
Let me introduce her essence that indeed is so pure,
Where a journey begins, and where dreams get mature.
In the home's gentle glow, her strength takes flight,
A woman not confined, but embracing each role with might.
More than a wife, more than a nurturing part,
A beating heart, she is a partner, she is a work of art.
Beyond the laundry's hum is her spirit's delight,
A friend, a companion, in love's clear light.
Let it be known to all that from the very start,
Her heart craves FAIRNESS, engraved as art.
For those who see rules as a binding chain,
She is a force and NOT a domestic terrain.
Defined by roles, but more seeds sown,
A woman deserving respect is fully grown.
In life's symphony where she claims her right,
Not a silent mime in the shadows of night.
A partner, a friend, in their shared paradigm,
Their spirits entwine with a captivating rhyme.
Witness her role, embrace the woman's might,
Equality blooms in the dawn's pure light.
Beyond mere tasks is a formidable force,
A woman demands RESPECT, unyielding and hoarse.

Maria Cristina Colima Poem
Oh, wow, it's been almost a year; I see..
Since I last let all my words in mind run free.
But now I feel like my pen feels right in hand,
To spill the thoughts my heart had planned....
The clock now reads exactly four fifty-four,
ohhhh, yet sleep still lingers at my door.
I remember, last night, no dinner, straight to bed,
Still in my work clothes and rest instead.
And now morning suddenly greets me, pen in flight,
Even though there's a little headache, I'll be alright.
Ahhhh, let a warm water, glide my throat
And soon a shower, then I will off to go,
Today is March 14, 2025 the payday glow.

Maria Cristina Colima Poem
Many sat on the thrones with gilded lies,
Most of them spoke of honor, sure they wore disguise.
And fed us rot in a clenched fists, they took the seat!
Yet power bowed at greed’s own feet!
Oh God.. hear the people's cries, a distant hum…
The justice whispered, yet they STAYED NUMB!
All those promises built on hollow sand,
What a pity! A nation held in shackled hands!
How can we find the truth when wealth decides?
When JUSTICE FOLDS! and when SILENCE CAN BUY?
Remember, ‘A leader falls, but shadows stay!!
It will only be a cycle that spins, still, the people pay!
What a sad fact; how power blinded many eyes,
And how greed consumes the strongest minds.
How sorrowful! this selfish game made the nation fell!
History speaks, yet, I can’t believe, NO ONE feel shame!!!!
