Be Back Soon

I must learn to stop wearing my heart on my sleeve, For it brings me nothing but pain. So tell me why is it so eager to leave? For it brings nothing but broken pieces that come to remain! But virtues of patience and hopes of friendship, Will take time to appear, from the bottom of a bottle. So time will tell if i can remain true and not slip, I must remain strong and somewhat tee-total! Just wishing her luck, and happiness, Is all I can do, I know my ache will be less, And I wish this statement to be true! So tell me heart upon my sleeve, Why are you so eager to leave?

Fine's Secret

The simulation with in my head Dreaming of ways to make me dead Revisiting moments from the past Fantasy outcomes that’ll make one gasp Pressure building, taking hold Impossible future of being old Little thoughts, describing your failure Screaming out, for you to “do them a favour” Wanting to reach out To scream, to shout But using that line “Yeah, I’m fine” These are the thoughts, before the end But listen to me, yes you, my friend Before you sigh and let out a groan Just know, you’re loved, you’re not alone

Blinking Caret

With tears in his eyes
He stares at the cursor
Wanting to type
Fearing he will
The feelings overwhelming
Building in crescendo
The urge to kill
Not another person
But the demons inside
Not knowing the words
To allow to the surface
He watches in amazement
As they come flooding out
Each one brings peace
As it escapes through his fingers
But still, he suffers
As his cascade of words
Offend his very soul
These are not the words of poems
But a triad of word vomit
Staining the screen before him
Yet still he types
To take away the pain
Not wanting to stop
To let out his soul
To explain his thoughts
Why he's about to do
What he's not wanting to do
This is the lowest that he's ever been

Depression Kills

Demons whispers
Eroding sanity
Persistently questioning
Relations history
Ever present
Silently absorbing
Suffering alone
Idyllic fantasy
Oppressing reality
None can
Know misery
I feel
Laughter masks
Losers surprise
Sorry end

Demon Appetite

Within the depths of silence
Amongst your thoughts are whispers
Where “what if’s” and fantasy collide
You’ll find this great deception

You’ll hide your fears with laughter
Your pain and sorrow too
No other can understand
The song the demon sings

The love of friends and family
Become its favorite food
Each moment held in question
It attacks with strength renewed

Fond memories become too few
As the demon eats away
Caressing as it belittles you
Slowly you become its prey

Erasers and Pencils

Written within my history,
By pen, pencil, or quill,
The pages are no mystery
Some yet to be written still

From my many dawn breaks
Blank pages becoming too few
Fond memories and heartaches
Waiting to be written anew

My past, already written
But, then I met you
At first glance, I was smitten
Imagining futures new

Your smile is like an eraser
My sadness and pain removed
Your arms within, I feel safer
Embraced, nothing to be proved

Missing Angel

Shattered dreams of a love that was lost. Never knowing you were with us until you were gone. Unrequited love of mine would have been my biggest gift for you! But alas, I’m left to go on, not knowing the person you could’ve been! So sleep my precious angel. May it be the sweetest of dream! Love Daddy

Hope Noir

Dark thoughts, running around my head Tortured soul, wishing it was dead Not knowing how she truly feels Wounds she caused, will they heal? Death of me, would be an easy option Noose, or blade? Or drugs of some concoction? No! I can’t, my faith won’t let me! Hope still lives, together, myself and she? Patience, a virtue, I wish to know! So this seed I’ll plant, and watch it grow. What will it be? I’ll wait and see!

Depressions Cycle

The many thoughts wishing that I was dead.
Not able to tell which voice is mine.
Just get out of my head!
The many voices that intertwine.

I hate that you know me so well!
Attacking the faith, that's keeping me alive.
Those little whispers condemning me to hell.
Is my death the outcome for which you strive?

With me gone, you'll be gone too!
No longer able to spread your spite!
You didn't consider that did you, you fool!
And now to defeat you, I might!

The many thoughts wishing that I was dead.
Not able to tell which voice is mine.

Perfect Contradiction

Thank you for the contradiction
The do as I say, not as I do’s
The teaching through acts
The mind games with words

You made me who I am
Then complain about what you see
Yet here I am at a low
You not giving what I need

Anger, hatred, criticism
Is it a twisted game?
Love and understanding
Are they alien to you?

You gave me everything
Yet restricted its use
How can I function?
Whilst dreaming of a noose

You destroyed my sanity
Just leave me be
Bottling up my vanity
Emotions don’t flee
