Words - Face of a Heart

My words are few
Dedicated to you...

By a cover - we judge a book
Before we even stop to look
- Open a chapter
Read - try to capture
Affairs of a heart
The Pieces torn apart,

Before you judge a book
Have a good look

Listen - take a deep glance
In foundations, of a heart's face
The raised walls (a protective fence)
Of a heart's sacred place

Only words, will tell you
Understand, for they could be few.

The Lost One

To love again I fear most
Often am considered lost
But I know where I am
In solitude away from harm

Quietly I move without a sound
Cause I don't want to be found

Not am I searching for a home
Nor will I forever wonder and roam
But with a mind full of doubt
I still have a lot to figure out

Love scared this heart to stone
Trust I once had is gone

Many a time I've loved n' lost
And now am paying the coast
Often am considered to be in despair
But I know am in self repair

I walk hardly touching the ground
Am 'The Lost One' not to be found.
