Carpets Cant Fly

Carpets Can't Fly
i gave you what i didn't have, so i guess that's a negative

i loved you with love i didn't acquire, so i guess that's why you hate me

NO! YOU! i laid the foundation for which i hoped we built upon

NO! YOU! i boosted your confidence when seen your self-esteem was buried 6ft deep

NO! YOU! i put my problems aside and focused on yours first

Nah..! that ! call me ALADDIN! ! i showed you the world , but all you wanted was ABU. had i'd known you was chasing a monkey i would have stepped aside and let you fly

GIRL YOU!
rubbing my belly until it's empty of wishes , now i'm the bad guy . given you my eye sight left me blind and you left me to die!

emotionally beating the dust off my carpet until the thread unravels leaving me with nothing...

so for what is left of me i slowly begin to stitch myself back together realizing Carpets Can't Fly.....

I Cant Drown

my lungs filled deep with water, i can’t breath, i can’t speak, but i see me in the middle of the ocean reaching out to be saved by me, consciously i’m like how, i can’t swim i’m afraid of deep waters, but i see me in the middle of the ocean reaching out to be saved my eyes connect to my soul and it’s saying stay calm, but save me the pressure is building my chest contracts my lungs expands there isn’t much time before i drown think flux shoot no don’t panic i see me in the middle of the ocean reaching out to be saved eyes still connected soul saying you can do it remember you are, you’re capable, i hear something it’s a crowd flashing lights from their cameras consciously thinking maybe they can help but in reality they don’t see me i’m human so i turn back to my soul looking deeper saying i can’t swim how do i save us soul said i thought you’d never ask follow these rules and you shall be saved my queen
step: 1 Never put another soul before me for i am your savior take care of me and i will never forsake you
step: 2 No means NO! don’t justify why you said no just let it be a NO
step: 3 ME TIME is essential get back in touch with your soul
step: 4 PATIENCE!
step: 5 NEVER FORGET WHO YOU ARE AND IF YOU DONT KNOW CREATE IT YOU OWN THIS BODY MIND AND SOUL!

If I Were a Boy

if i were a boy, i could then marry the girl of my dreams

if i were a boy, i could then start a family of our own

if i were a boy, i could then open doors and pull out chairs, order the finest wine and dine you

if i were a boy, i could then wrap my strong arms around you mimicking a fathers hug when needed the most

if i were a boy, i could then be seen in public while people glare with envy wishing it was them instead

if i were a boy, i could then be apart of family events, hang with the elder uncles and shoot hoops with hosts of cousins

but the irony is, i was born woman
