Must'Ve Fallen Asleep In Class That Day

I thought I
     wanted
     to be
     Broken
So I could
     feel,
     so Life
     would
miraculously
     become
     Real.

Forgot that
     pieces
scattered
     and not
      connecting,
cannot communicate
     with
each other.

     And now my Soul
is useless and unfixable.

The Hopelessness of Flameless Candles

Give me something I can feel
So that I know Love is real…

Living in my world of numbness
  and night,
Sometimes i wonder if I'll ever see
  the light.

Wish as I may
Wish as I might
I can't unwish
What has already been granted,
despite my fight.

And I can't care
Cuz I'll care too much.
And I'm pretty certain you won't feel
The explanation in my touch.

Give me something i can feel.

It Happened One Day When I Wasn'T Looking

You feel sort of empty
      towards me right now
       and I have to inhale
               for pause
          'cuz it seems like
           there's so much
               too much
     emptiness around me
               these days.

And I try not to think,
          try not to care,
      but that's just what
          started the void
          from back there
               to here.
