Linda Johnson Poem
You land that bare your baron hills and alabaster skies
Pastured fields of emerald green, the roman's left behind
Golden meadows stand arrayed, a tapestry unfolds
The air of medievel thoughts, a mystery of old
As I look yonder to the east a shepard tends his sheep
for you a nation not so learnt, your beauty you must keep
My dancing thoughts oh land of song, the harp and all who sing
with poetry and bairds that long to keep the love she brings
All through my journey's mile to mile and many leasons learned
oh! wales my love I promise you to you I will return.

Linda Johnson Poem
THE SUN SHINES BEYOND A VEIL OF CLOUDS
THE MOON PROVIDES OUR EVENING LIGHT
THE HEAVENS THAT ADORN THE SKY
A WARM AND CURIOUS SIGHT
WHAT LIES THERE IN THE GLORY OF
THE BRIGHT AND MORNING STAR
PONDERING THOUGHTS OF HUMAN MINDS
THAT GOD IS NOT SO FAR
THE CHILD IN US THAT STAYS SO STRONG
THE ANSWER WE MUST FIND
THE JOURNEY THAT WILL SOMEDAY END
TRANSLATIONS OF OUR MIND.

Linda Johnson Poem
AMONGST THE RIDING OF THE WINDS
AND METOPHORIC CLOUDS
NATURE'S OWN HAS BROUGHT TO HER
CALAMITY PROFOUND!
THIS DARK DESPAIR ON HUMAN RACE
FROM RAGING TIDAL WAVES
A MOURNING MOTHER'S HANDS THAT BEAR
THE SADNESS OF HER FACE
tHE EARTH STANDS STILL FOR JUST A WHILE
THE BIRDS THEY TAKE TO FLIGHT
NO LONGER CAN THIS ISLAND SMILE
FOR THEM THERE IS NO LIGHT
OH! SOLITUDE HAS COME TO THEM
IN JUST ONE MOMENT FEAR!
WHO KNOWS THE FUTURE OF THEIR SOULS AMONGST A POOL OF TEARS.
