Goal

A distance of several metres to cross infront of you;
Be prepared to face all the challenges which are new,
Go ahead of all difficulties by thrashing out those,-
Remember that, life is not a bed of rose.
Obstacle will come to tackle you as defender,
Face those gently, like a lone warrior.
Imposters can make traps to make you fool, -
Come out of the trap ,just keep yourself cool.
Take the toughest way with full of hurdles;
Because in simple may there may be shackles.
When all laugh at you then keep calm,
Make them silent, after bearing the palm.
Listen only the accents of your soul;
And prepare yourself for the last run to reach the goal.

Season

Welcome to the summer's call;
Revive again with the children's ball.
At afternoon the boys play too long,
Sometimes we listen the grasshopper's song.

Rain comes, bringing a new joy;
To the field of golden crops,
The scarecrows are tied with ropes
Now,to see who can destroy.

The winter's night is too long;
Behind the bushes, the cricket's song.
Santa has started his ride,
Oh!it is the time for Eastertide.

Mind refreshed with the essence of spring
The cuckoos are set to sing;
Nature is dressed with flower's bloom,
Never this beauty will get gloom.

Light

Watching the invisible demon living in human's mind, -
Running rampant terrifically, because it is not kind.
Still now there is the darkness of prejudices,
Day after day, just like a prey it catches.
Wishing to lit thousand bulb's light in this murky way;
But lonely I am impotent, what is the tragedy to say.
Far away, far away there is the source of the light,
Which will enlighten the truth infront of our sight.
Lunacy of following the black magician's trick,
Alas! wholeheartedly we have become sick.
Having a great zeal to find out the pioneer,
If I can I will be the harbinger.
And then we will have the true notions;
Wisdom's light will surely curb all superstitions.

The Sunflowers

It was an afternoon;when I wandered lonely,
And watched the yellow faces silently.
Those were the faces of flowers named 'Sunflower'
Wishing to see it for hour after hour.
Tossing their heads and glittering, -
Like Gold and the view was outstanding.

Always kept looking at the Sun;
Don't know, for them what was the fun.
I saw hundred of them at a glance,
So beautiful those were;who could miss the chance?
The flowers made me forget my solitude;
To them how could I express my gratitude.

Gradually, the leisure time was passing away,
At the end of the day, I wished to say,-
A sweet good bye ,and I was so pleased
Also lamented, because regularly the view would be missed.
Those were so pretty like the sulphur showers,
Yes they were the most beautiful Sunflowers.

Dawn At Howrah Bridge

Few minutes were left, for the Sun to rise;
And the passing night was ready for its demise.
I stood on the Bridge, and looking at the sky, -
Having woken, the birds were all set to fly.

Ah!what a pleasant feeling I had at that moment,
It seemed that the nature had worn a new garment.
The gentle breeze flowing over the calm river;
Perhaps I hadn't felt it ever.

Little faces of the ragged children with torn clothes,
And which really hurt, the pallor of helpless mother;
No one can realize her agony better,
Than the river, in which their misery floats.

Then, the time of sunrise came,
And wished to capture the view in a frame;
Ah!,then I was also enjoying the pleasure of breeze,
When the first ray of the Sun touched the Howrah Bridge.

Spring

After waking up by the melodious song of cuckoos,
Wishing to feel the beauty and sing;
Oh ! what joyance raining upon me in this spring.
The trees have been dressed with green
In this spring, ring out spleen.
Bid a good bye to the winter,
Just enjoy the spring before the coming summer.
Spring has come with splendid happiness ;
Alas! at it's end there will be sadness.

Rising Behind the Mountains

Woke up very early from the sleep;
Until then the darkness was so deep
Loitering and waiting for the first ray of Sun,
For me ,how it was the fun.

Standing on the roof, I looked around
The place was so tranquil with no sound.
Had an insatire thirst to see with own eyes;
Behind the mountains the sunrise.

Suddenly,,the face of the Sun came out slowly
In the east;surrounding was illuminated gradually.
The marvellous view wasn't less than the beauty of fountains,
So lucky I was, for seeing the rising behind the mountains.

Dusk

Waiting for the magical dusk;
And seeing people passing through wearing mask.
The birds are flying back to their nest,
Now, the time for them to take rest.

In the sky there is the game of kite
Few torned away,may be it is not right,
The field has been dressed with green
Don't know how long it can be seen.

Gradually the Sun is moving to the west,
Oh ! it is time for Him to set.
But when there is the thought of demise,
Wishing to be a member of paradise.

Wish of Passing a Day At Westminster Bridge

Having a wish to wake up very early;
At the time, when people get up barely
When the entire London will sleep,
And through the window I will peep.

I will get out for a walk gently
And also feel the magical dawn deeply.
After crossing few miles, with the pleasant feeling of breeze,-
Oh!at last I will reach the Westminster Bridge.

Ah!then what joyance will rain upon me;
Noone will be there to take share of my glee.
Gradually, the Sun will rise and brighten the surrounding,
With the first ray, the River Thames will be glowing.

The thriving city will start its regular journey,
But there I will dawdle, because I will be free;-
The serenity of Thames will make me energetic,
And help me forget the adventures which are sardonic.

At the end of the day, my feelings will be frail;
It will be thrilling, if I hear the Big Ben's bell.
Now I am so far away, but I promise
To make my dream true at Westminster Bridge.

Rest In Peace

"Rest in peace, rest in peace ",the departed souls;
Who have passed away after performing their roles,
In this Earth;the period may be very short
But they have gone with the best wishes, a lot.

The monstrous game of the devil has trapped the innocent lives,
Oh! by shielding its sabre, is very hard to survive.
The demented crying of the little child reaches everywhere;
May be, all they are crying silently somewhere.

The austere eyes of those who have lost their kith and kin,
Expressing the agony of heart which is very hard to mean.
In the heaven;the departed souls are enjoying bliss,
And we can only wish them "Rest in Peace ".
