Anytime life deals a crushing blow.
I will always be there for you.
Count on me to help you to grow.
My heart will always be true.
Walking through this mystery.
Live without thought of history.
Anyplace I look I see your grace.
In the beauty of the sky.
Looking in earnest, I see your face.
I do not need to know why.
Understand all that I fear.
Is seen as being all too near.
Anyone around you can speak of love.
Only the true can feel its high.
Do you know this feeling I speak of?
If not then, I wish to only die.
Just know I am forever true.
My heart beats for only you.

Nothing makes sense
Nothing is ever real
It is not what I think
But just what I feel
A twist of a word
A turn of the heart
Heading for devastation
A feeling from the start
Spouting words so true
Yet worthless and vain
Never to be realized
As fleeting as the pain
I give away nothing
My heart is filled with less
Scattered are dry seeds
Destined to sprout a mess
Lonely is the wolf tonight
Whimpering for a companion
A dog sits content by the fire
Happy to feel like a champion
The world lays before us
So plastic and so fake
Yet still it is there sitting
Just waiting for us to take
I have nothing but a wound
Desperate to become whole
A festering sore for a heart
And decaying leaves for a soul
