Grey Garden

Lingering longing hung like gallows, blossoming shadows of bliss to seed her love.
Barriers of brick, metal and plastic confining the flourishing depths of her roots.
Shadowing walls of hurt and anguish, threatening to veil the sunshine in which all true colors need to thrive.
All beauty that does exist is fleeting back to the cosmos.
Stretching to it's limits, incomplete the stem is weak but leaves and petals shine.
Nurturing the importance of life against all odds, knowing there is nothing you can do to fix it.
You just trust in your heart that your pollen will be carried to a place that illuminates the grey garden.
Spreading like invasive love struck souls In harmony.
May the meadow of her existance envelope future struggles and fertilize the soils of her bounty.

Lasting Impression

Flowers bloom
Storms consume
The sun does rise
Clouds fill the sky
Icy waves lick the shore
Spoiled child slams their door
Smiles cause wrinkles but so do frowns......
Map your face with grace because everything has
                                                                               its place...

Starving Stability

My feelings I store on empty shelves of shoulders that don't hold much but selfish needs. Preserved in salt to heal wounds and burn at once so to not forget the labels that have tested time, Patience and strength. Throughout time ,
I have tested waters flavored with agony's pungent seasoning knowing it's not for me nor suits my palate but I don't know yet if I'm the rancid offering or if the additives are spoiled. Tasteless, dry, almost dust like texture dashed on an unfavorable dish will always turn stomachs and noses away from edible sources. Why would one turn down a feast of delicacy for a home cooked bland ass meal. I would but that's because I know the value of blood sweat and tears not just how to lick my plate clean, snap fingers and silver set before me. .
