Dawn Miller Poem
Under the Mulberry Tree
Is where you would always be
While I climbed ever so higher
you would stand and wait for me
I never realized why that was
It was incase I should ever fall~
You were ready for anything
while I experienced it all
From hunting Newts under boards
or chasing Squirrels up trees
And building cages to help me catch
every single bird I could ever see
From following all the boys around
to chasing rabbits through knee high grass
From trying to catch those rascally snakes
to hunting down all them Bats
And everytime I turned around
you were always near
Watching your precious little tomboy
as I romped around without a fear
Those were the careless days of childhood
but those days are in the past
And looking back now, after 18 years
I'm grateful that Precious Memories last
Even though you've been gone now some 18 years
I can still see them putting you in the ground
But all I have to do is close my eyes
and those endless childhood days come back around

Dawn Miller Poem
Riding in the Wagon
over such deep ruts
I simply had no choice
but to grab his nuts.
I didn't want them jarred around
didn't want them smashed
Didn't want them banged or bruised
or even to get bashed.
I grabbed them soft as possible
in a firm, yet gentle way
Didn't want him thinking
I'd be holding them all day
The road began to straighten out
so his nuts I did release
When we pulled up to the Walnut Farm
We let out a sigh of relief
Our journey has now ended
the Walnuts are all gone
Tomorrow I'll hold his nuts again
At the early break of Dawn

Dawn Miller Poem
This is the story
it's sad, but it's true
of an innocent little girl
who suffers vile abuse
She's treated like Vermin
our poor little Paulette
by parents who make sure
she'll never forget
she is the cause
of their hatred, discust and regret.....
