If

If
By Byron Juno

If women MUST die
Then Atieno would die first
If children were to forage
Then Atieno's would forage forever
If women were to walk necked
Then Atieno's would walk throughout the year
If women were to trade their honeypot
Then Atieno's would donate hers
If women were after money not
Then Atieno would be not
If women were to sell their daughters
Then Atieno would sell to a merchant

The woman from the far away land
The woman with less embarrassments
The woman The woman The woman
Whose legs are loose for a walk
Whose waist never tire
Whose joints are ever green
Whose body children is yummy!
Whose body children say is tender
Whose body children say is fresh
Whose lips has tasted all drinks
Whose eyes have not only seen death
Whose back has sweated on all beds
Whose legs have wiped all door mats
Whose scent even cactus knows
Whose farms lie fallow

             Atieno the generous woman
Generous woman who never says NO

Who will guide our young girls?
Who will show our girls the right way?

But she says;
Her husband is jobless
Her husband is ever seated
Her husband is ever sleeping
He wants first born treatments

Atieno! Will you not be buried
On the right side of your husband's house?
Will your husband not be the first
To throw black soil in your grave?
Will your husband not say
 you were a good woman?
Will your husband not allow mourners
In his compound?

Life Is Scattered

2nd Elergy For Auntie Betty Akinyi Oyugi.
Life is scattered.
By Juno Byron(Junior).

Life is a balloon
Inflated full
A'n given to a baboon
Wherefore? though white as wool

Life is a pot
Resting on her head
With water it got
Cool cold as the dead

Life is a charcoal
Collected in a heap higher
Statued to make a roll
Waiting for th' great fire

Life is a nestling
Inside a nest
Lonely chirping
Built over a river to rest

Life is a live band
Played once enthusiastically
Made of a good brand
If played 'ice- loses weight drastically

Life is a flower
That once blossom
Then dry at summer
In the fields at random

Life is ice cream
Scooped into a warm tongue
And melts dim dim dim as a dream
Whose alarm has rung

Life is scattered
Broken
'nd can not be gathered
Yours,mine,hers,ours,his shan't be remembered.

Assiduous Betty is gone!
Charitable Akinyi is gone!
Benignant Oyugi is gone!
Munificent Betto is no more!

Time is a good friend
We shall plant and harvest
And all shall we'll end
When we believe in Christ.

I Am Dying

In loving memory of Queen Queen - Nyasuba.
 "I am DYING"
 by Juno Byron.
My heart is losing breath
To the hourly pummelling and drubbing
With a heavy metal rod of death
No mercy forgiveness am Dying

Is it because I'm a lady?
Is it because I'm to be voiceless?
'y kill me before our baby?
Please listen to the voices

End semester is here
Boohoo! I can't sit to revise
'cos dear I fear this is my year
To capsize the prize of my cries

Open your eyes mister killer
Allow me die peacefully
With no wounds like a caterpillar
Now that you can't forgive easily

My love has betrayed me
Denied me to quit
With you I thought I was free
But you were misfit

My sisters
love is a big liar and deaf and blind
Big blisters
Quit! Before you're confined

The Gambler

The Gambler
By Juno Byron

There lived a ruler
Wh'as a good gambler
tall as giraffe's neck
Silly slim handsome deck
Chaos his best friend

I myself have guns
They have become Jesus
On the cross - said
He ate cigga's da'ly
And rode on horses

In the slums when
He came they hid
Pub books had his
name late in the
Night he came home

Silently silenced go'ment 'ficials
He was a Pharaoh
But his rose flower
Brought him down so
His name was Chalby.

Goodbye By Byron Juno

My way is not that far
my path is not that black tar
my bicycle is deflated
but your heart is inflated
i go in peace and war the way i came
all i see in my eye is a blank game
your yellow pale face
turning shifts like a phase
the crescent waits for me
as the horizon sinks deep in the tree
roses are now dried
our wedding ring is now fried
let me go my way
till i will forget this day

I Adore

I adore
By Juno Byron
Dedicated to my friends.

I adore the shore fo'rmore
The pure clear water u hear
That flows foes hearts aparts
'nd the single own known home
That heaven has given
Bright light flowers shout out
That bees busy build hives
All tall trees praise days
When love above all I maketh
Fear, dear keep aside
No wave to save the lost
At pleasure to enjoy treasures
All shall be mine
I shall rise to power
Climb to the tower
And bow down to God
Ask Him to bless the humbless in this nature
I adore the shore fo'rmore
