Covid Depression

Get out and goi can’t take this no more. Depression has me at odds. We’re living in times that are halted no moves forward don’t step backwards into memories of lost freedom.
Covid has had us trapped for a couple of seasons. Get out even if you don’t have depression this could bring it about loss all around and changes that are out of our control.
Get out go to a park or throw around a ball out in the sun. Get out start a new goal put forth work to turn your house into a home. Get out and roam don’t let covid depression take a hold.

A Lake of Pain

A lake filled with joy but surrounded by pain
caught in a unorganized just over broke we
just watched each other go down the rabbit hole

We put in overtime and the freedom was to much so
our minds were up for grabs every bottle we counted
as we down it and are induvial pain slipped away at
least until the start of a new day

The lake filled with bottles the pain became hard to
sallow the bottles started to float to the top the habit
had to stop I got a new job and changed a lot and pulled
my mind out of that compromising spot

A Damaged World

Can you complain if you don't stand up and become apart of the change
I am not happy with the state of the world or life I don't have time to fight alright
I must pay rent and bills are due and my son needs me to get him threw but what will i get him to if there's no change a doomed world destine to burn in flames
I don't want that I want to hand him a world were there's a fair chance for every boy and girl and i need to show dreams can be reached so i must get up and stand on my feet and chase down my dreams for him and me to show him what the world can be

You Shouldve Talk To Me

Hatred is given respect is gained
I will never trust you the same
The bond I gave to you was given to me

Because I would have never betrayed you
I was never given the chance to explain what took place
You just gave me a dark face as though you wanted
To take my soul and break it rather then talk out
The unexplained pain you chose to speak dirt on
My name

Knowing we would end up one day in a enclosed space because of certain ties we can’t erase you should
Have spoke with o me it would have turned out different
I had respect for you know hatred has risen

One More

Empty heart with a filled head one more pill I
Will end up dead pills and bottles are used to heal
Pain
Go around family and they will know I changed a
Lifeless me is hard to explain when I grew up filled
With laughs and joy as I got older my life did a 160
Change and my light got blocked by flames

Long held friendships changed and bills were due
So I popped a pill or two and sipped on some liquor
To quite my worry my life got out of view as you talked
To me I was so high I couldn’t see you and I knew what
I had to do so I put down the pills and bottles and started
A new tomorrow

Unknown Emotional State

Emotions are real so please think before you speak
Someone else’s words you heard to a person and
You don’t if they are on the brink of a breakdown
Or if their loved ones are around to help their decisions
Be sound people tend to believe unfounded words
From ones that don’t have the nerve to accept
Their selves
Not knowing someone’s current state and that they might
Not be able to deal with that hate please don’t help put someone
In that place emotions are real

Eager To Be Grown

Eager to be grown but the reality of it was unknown
To me in my mind just wanting to be free not knowing that being grown is so cut throat stand up go for it and don’t choke and if you don’t go for what you seek you could lose everything you need and every adult gain comes at a cost

Unknown is the cost of be an adult to a child that just wants freedom and the right to chose not knowing what’s at stake there is also much to gain enjoy your childhood and don’t rush it away

Judgements of My Pen

It’s for me and some for you my poetry helps to get me threw But understand your looks and judgements can never stop what I do A lifetime of pain poured threw a pen
God has place my purpose in front of me indebted to your hate I plan to be Sit back and watch your energy and my talent redefine me and shape my work into what it is meant to be

Year of Thanks

Thanks should be something given all year not just one day in November when friends and family are near thanks for daily health and god given wealth like friends and family and opportunities for change
thanks for the faith and strength to stick to who I am meant to be and thanks for not letting failures of this year redefine me
Motives for thanks are different from person to person the voice of the crowd is louder then one Thanksgiving is the day were the ultimate thanks is done

Change

Change I am sick of your name
You have been in my life for way to long
As soon as everything is right you turn it wrong
Then their is the flip side of you that brought me more
Joy than I thought I could ever go threw
You brought me my son my husband and kept
My family safe as soon as I enjoy you give way
And bring the type of change my heart can’t take
But what can I do change I seem to never be able to break
Up with you
