Ode To Cats In Costumes

Ode to the Cats in costume
Cats in costume, you inspire me to write.
How I love the way you hiss, stare and walk,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the wicked chock.

Let me compare you to a black clover?
You are more scary, unreal and slender.
White storms whip the twiglets of October,
And autumntime has the vandevender.

How do I love you? Let me count the ways.
I love your cherry costumes, eyes and tail.
Thinking of your wary eyes fills my days.
My love for you is the tender entail.

Now I must away with a surreal heart,
Remember my light words whilst we're apart

Playtime

Whose ball is that? I think I know.
Its owner is quite happy though.
Full of joy like a vivid rainbow,
I watch her laugh. I cry hello.

She gives her ball a shake,
And laughs until her belly aches.
The only other sound's the break,
Of distant waves and birds awake.

The ball is round, bouncy and deep,
But she has promises to keep,
After cake and lots of sleep.
Sweet dreams come to her cheap.

She rises from her gentle bed,
With thoughts of kittens in her head,
She eats her jam with lots of bread.
Ready for the day ahead.

What To Do

Why oh why won't they just leave me be
Sleep is my only release
& even that's been shy these days
It's steady & constant; non-stop noise
Never is my mind at ease
Drowning then out works to no avail
Arguing with them seems to make matters worse
Tried befriending them, but they always disagree

No New Friends

I'll say it again to, as I have done before
I can't stand the voices, not a moment more
I have tried time & time again to make the disappear
But here they remain, loud & clear
Nothing I do ever drowns them out
All my efforts only make them shout
A peaceful mind must be a sin
Because I have bad days that come in sets of ten
I hear them loudly through chirping birds & rustling trees
I actually believe they travel with the wind
This curse of mine will undoubtedly win
For the fact remains that they are my closest friend

Moon

How happy is the gentle luna!
Does the luna make you shiver?
does it?

An asteroid, however hard it tries,
Will always be huge.
Now vast is just the thing,
To get me wondering if the asteroid is big.

I cannot help but stop and look at the wooly heel.
Does the heel make you shiver?
does it?

I cannot help but stop and look at the big crescent.
Are you upset by how larger it is?
Does it tear you apart to see the crescent so oversize?

Fight

I choose to be alone, which makes insanity a must
Breathing to live, but dying to trust
My soul years to love, but my heart disagrees
My mind is planted here on earth, but my mind is somewhere overlooking the seas
Through mountains & valleys, I feel I'm in an abyss
My journey is neverending;
trying to find my purpose
At this point I'm willing to take any risk
Nights turn to days & days turn to nights
Hoping one day soon, my future will look bright
But until then I'll continue fighting this fight

The Game

I can't seem to figure out how to hit reset mode, or ever get any closer to deciphering this code.
As a diversion I try to conceal my pain
I no longer feel any shame
It's either continue on with this facade
Or expose the true horror & agony I live with every single day
My attempts have proven useless;
It has become to much to tame.
The time has come, I tap out now; the voices can take all the fame.
They continue to drain the life from me; I have almost none left to give.
My better days are all behind me now; for eternity remaining in my past.
The voices have finally beaten me
I give up, I tap out, & I accept my place in last.
The feeling of defeat is within me & that day to shall come
When they're little game will be over & they shall be done with all they're fun
I have no more fight left in me;
Not even a little ---- I have exactly NONE AT ALL

Kiss of Fate

I'm in all at their winning Streak victories
Nearly undefeated; time for me to try to make history
I revel in the idea that I too shall overcome
I'm envious of those around me never having to endure those dreaded days & dreary nights
My soul tries emerging from beneath my skin
Promising ever so sweetly that this storm will calm soon
I shudder at the mere thought of it being the kiss off fate;
Suffocating me,
leaving me gasping for air

Year2020

When I thought of the year
Take thy season from out my heart
It threw its ghost against the grades
They are perfumed from unseen brigades
And its eyes have all the lining
Long I stood there circling, confining
With such a passion for aligning
All my soul within me designing
Eagerly I looked for the decade
I threw my day upon the floor
The end is soon approaching
Time to open the next door
