Sweet Gram
Oh my great Granny,
Your words so clever and sweet.
Out of everyone in the world it would be you who i’d meet.
They say we look just alike,
Even enjoyed the same activities such as strolling on a breezy nature hike.
I know time can’t, nor won’t turn back,
I just hope they see you in me, no trait I shall lack.
You inspire me to write, and continue your beautiful work,
As your heart was kind, I will too never act as a jerk.
Decades pass, yet stay the same,
You and I live strong, so onto my child, I pass will our name.
I am eternally grateful as you made me who I am,
You are forever in my thoughts, sweet Gram.
