My Jewel

My long lost love...
  The jewel of my life
  My Precious Saphire...
  Time has torn us apart!
  And brought us together
  in an unsual manner...

  Standin next to you,
  holding your cold hand
  brings back old sweet
  mem'ies of you and me...
  Sitting on the hill
  top fill'd with wild flow's
  watching the lilly
  Blossom into wild flow's.....

Ode To My Grandmother

My northern star
To the stars you belong
You were the brightest of all stars
The star that was ever constant, and never falls
Your brightness could have
Quench the burning furnace

My precious sapphire
The precious jewel in the heart of Ibesikpo Asutan
The one whose glance
Tames the wildest brute
I wish I were the sun, shinning at you
I wish I were the moon, lightening your avenue
To the great paradise of tranquility,
And sweet songs of mellifluous melody

Test of Time

Test of Time

Who builds courage with
time?
Who with a right character
Always looks delight like a
star?

Who endures in cloudy climes,
with moderation as her
shelter?
Who approaches all asperities
with passion?

They that have perseverance
and endures with aplomb
They that are tolerant

those who are insouciance
They that have endurance
And that are noble

They that are temperate
Those who are patient.

The Dark Men

THE DARK MEN

Eyes like cynthia's brow
staring beyond the sky
In a ruminative refined temper
In an everlasting trance.
The men of the dark devised it
They devised the devilry journey
Like the rustling of a dry leaf
He has rustled up,
And crossed the rubicon, and ingress to
The world of inexorable tranquility

Man is now terrific
Man is bestial and blustery
Man has turned into a canal beast

O why is it so cruel
Even to the innocent?
Yes! He was not a hood
They take even the innocent away
When ravening who
To take next in this gloomy
World

Like a savage dog in
the mist of vivacious kids,
it has been in my heart,
Since he traveled to the great beyond.
The today of tomorrow have been wracked

Amity

The wind is strong, the sky so
gray
The storm seems not to abate
Your heart embarks on peril
voyage.
O! he falls into the abyss of
disarray

The storm is great, the dust
forms cloud
The dust is like a vibrant
ocean tide
The heart is in the heart of
Saharah desert
O! she can't find an oasis

Having a genuine and candid
pal
Amidst this ferocious weather
Is like drinking a cool water
In the heart of Saharah desert

With them, our hearts are
mended
Like the celestial Angels,
They hold us up when
Our wings are broken

Good Night

She was as radiant as the sun
Pleasantas the rain
As kind as the moon
And as wonderfull as the stars

She was my dawn
The sunrise in my heart
Her love tells of morning
Her eyes were like diamond

She was as humble as noon
Her face were as bright as midday
Her thoughts were the pinnacle of my day
And lonely hours

Her lips tells of doves
By water fall, at sunset,
And at night, it tells of pleasure
Fountain in good night kiss

As she walks in cloudy
Climes, when the moon crawls
Slowly, she kissed good night
To the emptyness of my heart

The Path of Knowledge

Our search for perfect knowledge has led us
Through a perilous journey, from the scotching sun
Of the distance river in the Savannah
Across oceans, and snow white
Mountains of the Yankees
Some drank from the fountain of knowledge
And were gratified by it relish
But I seek the waterfall that leads
To the abyss of wisdom
Where She takes her clean bath
of justice, fortitude, honesty, and temperance
And dries her body with moderation

I must strive to conquer time
So that my dreams of seeking her
May not by put to slumber
By the inevitable visitors of our lives

I seek her who does not choose colour
She embraces even the coloured
We must all ask for
Her humble halcyon hand in marriage
Irrespective of our religion, age, or race

They can only hide her from us
But cannot stop us from seeking her
We must all strive to conquer time
So that our dream will not be put to slumber
