Life is not set in stone,
It can start high and end low
It may start low and end high
However, what most do not see
Is that life is akin to a rollercoaster
It has repeating highs and lows
It has ebbs and flows,
Life constantly touches and goes.
My life has been no exception.
It is subject to ebbs and flows
It can feel at times that there is no redemption
It can feel like I am happy again
My life is touch and go
At times it feels pointless
It can even feel worthless,
Occasionally there is happiness
But it comes and goes.

My life was dark and dreary
She was bright and saving
With her I was no longer weary
She had the best timing
She was there when I needed her saving
She gave me attention
She flooded me with affection
She was in love
I gave her all my attention
I am in love.
