Touch and Go

A sport that holds a special place in my heart,
A memory that will live with me from the start.
The day I hit my first home run,
I knew my hard work was not done.

Hard work, blood, sweat, and tear,
Poured into the game, as the fans still cheer.
As the end of the season is near,
I will be playing on the field one last time this year.

I Cannot Imagine My Life Without My Dog

To the one I welcomed home
I love you more than you will ever know
Here your new home is a place to run and roam
The energy you have is quite the show
I have enjoyed watching every minute of you grow
People say a dog is a man’s best friend
So of course, I had to join the trend
You are the best gift I have ever received
A day apart from you makes my heart rend
To have the best dog, my goal was achieved.

I Cannot Imagine My Life Without Sports

As I look toward my future, the time has come to say goodbye.
And just like that, its all over in the blink of an eye.
When I think of all the times we had together, I smile and sigh.
I know I will miss you and that is okay, you were so great to me, so excuse me if I cry.

You teach me a lot as I continue to grow.
And thanks for sticking around even when I tend to be slow.
You can see the hard work I put into you as you watch my show.
I will always love you and I hope you know!
