Fantasy At Dawn

If the world were but an ocean
And love our precious boat
Then what are life’s true values?
And would we really float?

But what of us my friend
Yes, what of you and me?
Are we just marooned lovers?
Or pirates without a sea?

My Home

My home, my planet is a living thing
And Mother Nature her Eternity Ring
The miracles of life, decay and re-birth
Leave me in wonder and love for this Earth

This delicate balance is hard to maintain
And neglect and pollution are causing her pain
All is not well, our Mother is ill
And there is no medicine or magical pill

People need confess and tend to her plight
For we are the virus and the parasite

Black and White

Why is black always bad and white always right?

And an eye for an eye just cripples your sight

If He made us in his image, then why not the same?

Are we all God’s children or just Abel and Cain?

You are brothers in arms when he fights for your freedom

But when he walks your streets he's just some kind of demon

But reconciliation lives on a two way street

Harmony and peace would be no mean feat

Prejudice and racism leave a dark septic hole

There's no room in Heaven for an infected soul

Lost and Found

Lost in a smile in need of a friend
Found in a kiss that could never end

Lost in footsteps that leave no trace
Found in an emptiness that caresses space

Lost in echoes that haunt the mind
Found in a blindness that knows no time

Lost in a heaven that has no skies
Found in a love that never dies

Love Lament

Love was like a pebble that was dropped into a stream

It remained but a moment, then was gone like a dream

The waters became calm and left reflections of my fears

Where the ripples were my memories and the drops my tears
