Ankwasa Harlord Poem
I want to buy a wardrobe,
And in it I place my name
In the top left corner
Of its darkest spot.
I want to buy a wardrobe
And in it put a billion chambers,
To keep my name safe
From vultures aimed
To pounce tiger like
And tear it into pieces.
I want to hide my name,
From the sadistic and narcissistic
Individuals aimed to put a show
And from it their fame
Grows
Heart hurt to smithereens.
I want to hide my name,
In the many chambers
Of my wardrobe
Made of finest of steel
And many padlocks
To shield it from scavengers sharp claws
Stinking hold of its skin.
The name I want to hide,
Is bleeding with a fire
That does not burn
Busy on Kabale streets
Sweeping the floor clean
And babbling on all town walls
Of a native
That ashames the kin
And the nation at large
I want to hide my name.
I want to buy a wardrobe,
And in it I lay my name
In the top right corner
Of its brightest spot.
And only then,
Will My name be free...

Ankwasa Harlord Poem
I hear voices in my head,
I touch pain
On every television
Except the typical symbols
Of hegemony
Except in a white building
Miles and miles away,
I touch pain!
For every leaf that falls,
Swallowed by the burning hell
From the mighty birds
Of weird names F 16, F 35...
I hear these voices,
We hear these voices -
Miles away, node in unison,
"The world rules order" Has exemptions
I wake up with a heart hurt
Deeply as though resting on safety pins,
Miles and miles away -
A voice in Downing Street
Sings a weird song
" A right to defend itself"
Uproots 37+ younger leaves daily,
Shame officially abolished
In the self proclaimed democracies -
Is humanity this wicked?
Is mainstream media this cheap?
Should religion blind us this deep?

Ankwasa Harlord Poem
They sat holding bottles
In their hands
And armpits
Pouring mouthful
Of liquor to fill
Their hollow stomachs.
They gazed at each other
As cat and mouse
And spoke a lot of
Inglish with slain syntax
To devirginate
Their motherland.
The two drunkards!
Spoke of a nation's illusions
And the wilted state of
A nation's elites
Raping the cultural norm
Who raped the temple?
They said something
About Lubowa hospital
And praised the Bus Kingdom
For Grazing well the Gen z's
Digging the tax hole
Who murmured a secured Future.
They gazed at each other
As hare and hyena
And shakily gasped for breath
Of the holy bribe paid
For their nocturnal duties
Poverty pasted on muzzled faces.
Oh, the two drunkards!
Finally hit the climax
And roared at each other of
An accusation of not belonging
Reached for each other's neck
To strangle a refugee within.

Ankwasa Harlord Poem
Looking through my window
Children playing around with slops
Dogs cats cows... singing in their own right
Trees mingling with the wind songs of praise
Some off to the bush for food,
Who the LION is none of their business
Africa Seems free.
On the streets shouting carrying screaming
Jesus Muhammad...
Working for heaven eden
Back home they cant spare a bean for their Neighbor!
but they speak in tongues....
Africa Seems free.
In class speaking French English Chinese....
speaking in your own right is a crime,
Poles day Pastor Sheik Bishop "vote your own"
Women in different skins long hair
Men in ear rings...
Africa Seems free.
Africa Seems free
while speaking French English Chinese...
while deep in religion of the Occidental and Oriental
while you eating screaming shouting... voting your own!
Are we free?
Are you free?
Are they free?

Ankwasa Harlord Poem
Theater Of Life
We met as strangers stranded in the park,
Lonely as the night -
Wandering in wonder, will the train surface?
1:35am she thought to provide me warmth
Open arms, I drowned beneath her chest.
We sang, imitating the birds in the far away forest,
The wind sang along in uniformity, blended we thought!
Utopia was now newly found home, surely us alone existed -
My queen and I King made our wishes under the stars
And everything seemed alright.
Sometime in March 2023, queen relinquished the King -
Anointed he a wolf,vampire,demon...
Slain he for merely loving she, unconditionally to hold on forever
She never looked back, to see the hell of a life
Acidic to the lungs, suffocate he to death -
A walking dead in the open, such is the theater of life!
