I Am Beautiful

I am Beautiful no matter what anybody sees.
I am Beautiful no matter what anybody says.
I am beautiful no matter how anybody treats me.
I am beautiful people have tried to break me with their lies.
I am beautiful people have tried to break me with their fist.
I am beautiful people have taken my virginity from me at an early age.
I am beautiful even though my freedom has been taken from me more than once.
I am beautiful even though sometimes I gave my power and freedom away.
I am beautiful even though I have been abused and have abused myself.
I am beautiful because my scars and survival make me so.
I am beautiful because I have a story to share.
I am beautiful and my weakness makes me strong in Christ.
I am beautiful because I am loved by Christ.
I am beautiful because I am still standing.
I am beautiful because I've learned from my mistakes.
I am beautiful because God makes no mistakes.
I am beautiful because I am still learning and growing.
I am beautiful because I have something to say and it matters.
I am beautiful because I have something to contribute to the world.
No matter if my contribution to the world is big or small it matters.
I am beautiful because I am a work in progress and I need not be in distress.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the only beholder that really counts is Christ.
Tell yourself you are beautiful and that you matter until you believe it.

Free As a Bird

One day I will sail on the breeze like a bird just as pretty as you please.
One day I will be free as a bird from a cage.
One day I will spread my wings and fly away from here.
One day I will hear my Master call from the Heavens come up here.
One day when I hear Jesus I will respond and my soul will leave this old body.
One day I will fly to my Lord to be by his side.
One day when this old life is over and when my journey's done I will fly away.
I will fly like a bird, up through the blue, blue skies passing by every white cloud.
One day I will soar most proud to be with my Lord.
My work will be done, my race I would have run and won so away I will fly world bye bye.

I Can'T Breathe

I can't Breathe/

I can't breathe when I think about all the hate in our world today I can't breathe
I can't breathe when I bring it home and think about all this hate as it relates to me I am hated because of my skin color,I am hunted as prey
I can't breathe I can't breathe when I think of all the injustices and inequalities in this world
I can't breathe when I think that I may not be able to get into the best schools because I am black and may be viewed as not as smart
I can't breathe when I know that when I go out for a job you will view me differently and I may not even get the job I seek because of what you think you see
I can't breathe when I think about the fact that when I do get a job that many times I will make less than someone who is white and not black like me I may be passed over for raises and promotions just because of what you think you see
I can't breathe when I know my brothers and sisters are being gunned down and killed in the streets and I or a family member could be next
I can't breathe was what poor Mr.Floyd kept saying as his life was snuffed out as he finally realized he was going to die calling out for his mama with his last few exhales her face from Heaven he probably could see
We can't breathe and we are tired and need to breathe once more

The Sea Billows Roll

Oh, how the sea billows roll.
Oh, how they roll they are are so beautiful and majestic as they slap against the southern shores. How these waves rise and come and go.
Oh, how the sea billows roll.
The sea billows roll on and on into the night.
Oh, what a wonderful but somewhat scary sight.
Oh, how those sea billows roll.
Look at them dance there dance up and back, back and forth all through the night.
Then look a little harder out in the distant sea and what do I see? The one who can control the sea walking on the water, oh wow it's Jesus I see.
He's walking tall and proud in all of his majesties he's calming that sea. Jesus that great and wonderful King coming on the horizon just as bright as you please.
He is coming to calm all his children's stormy seas.
King Jesus is coming one day for you and me.
Jesus is coming for his children to take them away to that glorious place called Heaven.
Jesus is coming for all that have not lived a lie and those that have stayed right by his side.
These children have dared to call Jesus their Lord and King.
Oh, Jesus is coming to calm every sea, he's coming for you and me.
Lookout and be watchful every child of the King.
Be watchful for our soon coming King.

Christmas With the King

Christmas with the King
Your dear loved one has departed this life; he will never shed another tear or be in any more pain. He will be spending this Christmas with the King. Our bright lights and choir's singing fails when compared to his first Christmas with his King. Listening to the heavenly choir and talking to his King. His Savior that he's known here on earth he now bows in his presence and praises him with all his might while standing in God's glorious light. So don't shed a tear for him because now he's all dressed in white. He's happy and whole radiating God's light. He's waiting for the rest of his family to make it in to have their first Christmas with the King.

She's the First Minority Women Vp Wow

Oh, what rapture and what joy the first woman VP.
Oh, what rapture and what joy she's Asian- American
Oh, what rapture and what joy she's African-American
Beauty, grace, and power all rolled into one
It's a new day dawning, I am hopeful it's a greater day
This is a day of hope not just for little brown girls and boys
This is a day of hope for all whom believe in equality
We have a long way to go but today proves that love is possible
Today proves that change is possible and greatness too
I only hope that all will be well with us all
I only hope that we will once again raise up and work towards being a Godly nation
That we will strive for the justice and peace our founding forefather's worked towards
May every American find the inner strength to be great it's not too late
May we learn to live , love, and work together as one
May we never give up on truth or on what's right
May we learn to serve each other with delight
Lord Jesus help us all repent and do what's right.

The Thousand Year Reign I Wonder

I wonder and ponder what will the thousand-year reign look like?
The saints from the great gathering /harvest of souls will be there.
The saints that come out of the great tribulation will be there.
All the saints will be there all dressed in white what a wonderful sight.
I am no bible scholar but it seems to me all saints are safely in the Lord's care.
Will you be one of the saints safely in His care?
Some on earth, some in Heaven but all safely in his care.
Not sure but it seems you will be able to come and go as you please.
From earth to Heaven and back again.
I think or so it seems to me.
Living, loving, and worshipping with our Lord we will be.
Seemingly we will have work to do and not always just standing at ease.
Your work is not just randomly given but purposely given.
Seemingly based on a reward system according to what you did on earth.
If you did much for Christ great is your reward in Heaven.
If little was done on earth than don't expect much of a reward in Heaven.
An account of your life will be given at this time.
This is where rewards and jobs are given.
Some saints may even get to judge the nations.
This time will be filled with peace and bliss.
It's truly something I don't want to miss.
I imagine that food and drink will be plenty.
Tables and tables draped with white liens.
More food than you have seen in your life and with great variety.
I imagine that there will be no night there.
I imagine that his glory and light will be felt and seen everywhere.
I imagine much celebrating will be going on there.
Each person will get to greet and talk with Jesus or at least that's what I imagine.
We will sing a new song of victory and triumph for and about our Lord Jesus.
Jesus will give his speech and welcome giving congratulations to all.
Jesus will walk and talk with each of us as we work, worship, and play each day.
Oh, how I wonder and ponder about that great day and what it will be like?
Will you be there?

A Prayer For the New

A prayer for the new year and President
A prayer that you will be able to do all you said would do
A prayer that you will stick to the truth and defended it like it's your best friend
A prayer that you would seek God first in all that you do
A prayer that justice and peace will reign and win out without a doubt over hate
A prayer that God would protect you and your family
A praying that God will protect all who now hold power with you
A praying that we can and will repent, reset and regain our Godliness
A praying that we can once again be a good example to all around us
Praying that God's Will will be done and we will graciously say yes LORD to it
Praying we will trust God fully and let him lead our way in all we do
To our new President may God truly guide and bless you is my prayer.

The Homeless Shuffle

The Homeless shuffle have you done it, will you have to do it?
The homeless shuffle moving here, then there and everywhere.
You must keep moving to stay safe.
You must keep moving to cover your tracks.
Looking for the pig and or your next hit.
Looking for a safe place to sleep and something to eat.
Looking for a street corner to make your next quick buck.
The homeless shuffle is not a new dance craze it's a way of life.
The homeless shuffle is what a person does to survive when on the streets.
They have to dance to a different beat than others who aren't on the streets.
If we dare to care just maybe we can make a difference for those living on our streets.
If we dare to get involved maybe there will not be so many on the streets.
We need better mental health care if you aren't aware.
We need more homes for the homeless and not shelters or jail cells.
We need to teach all we can to fish and provide for themselves.
We need to show them there is pride to be had in staying clean and healthy.
We need more drug reform and more resources to help folks that want to stay clean, really stay clean.
The police and social worker need to be a homeless person's friend, not an enemy.
The homeless shuffle in our nation so great we need not be doing this.
I am aware not every person on the street is an addict or mentally ill but many are, we can help if we dare.

The People Celebrate the Freedom To Come

People came from near and far to say goodbye for now.
People came to see that great man laid at rest.
People came to take pictures and protest.
People came to show their love.
People came to tell and share their stories.
People told of their lives, their struggles, their dislikes, and or despair.
People told of their kids, wives, and husbands.
People were saying I was compelled to come, I had to come.
People came and showed their solidarity.
People came walking in some form of unity that day.
People said we love what this man stood for freedom and love.
People said he stood for peace and harmony.
People said he told us to love one another.
People said he told us to stand up for what we believe.
People said he didn't want us to be deceived about what standing up would mean.
It would mean pain and suffering, it would mean personal attacks on one's person.
People said thank God for Mr. John Lewis.
I hope people will say let me live as a better example of true love and peace.
I hope people will say let true and positive change start with me.
Help us/me to get into Good Trouble amen and amen!
