Bubbles

Bubbles

You’re here now and everything’s changed, for better mind.
We waited and waited and I thought you’d never come, but now my world is full of plums.

Your plump shiny cheeks and your cute gurgling sounds. Your eyes glisten like fairy lights in the mist. Your soft smooth skin is bliss. How blessed we are. How blessed.

Being a part of you keeps me in the moment. I live each day moment by moment as you do. I don’t ponder about the past anymore or obsess about frivolous daydreams, or inane ideas. The past is far from my mind, like a ship far from shore.

I am a ship and you’re my lighthouse. You showed me my way home when I was lost. The choppy, crashing waves were hostile and cold. They showed no affection but your lighthouse shows me love and fills my heart with warmth.

You’re a bundle a sweet, tender bundle. So robust yet so fragile. So robust as you twisted and turned to pass through me, yet so delicate now as you need me.

Always

Bell

The beauty of the bell.
                                 It chimes on the sabbath.
                                                                      Echoing through the times.
