A Dark State of Mind

Forsaken progress at the end,
Too many broken hearts,
Left to never mend,
As a shadow of a thought,
Leaves shattered spirits trapped within,
And all hope is lost to the dark,
Where shall one begin?

See here in this melancholy state,
Ill shut out the sun,
And seal my own fate,
The shards of tattered shadow,
Whispering fiercely in the night,
A red moon shining through,
Glowing with crimson light....

All appears so clear,
In this state of mind,
Time seems to vanish,
With the past so far left behind,
Ill ask myself again,
Never knowing why,
How did I get here,
And how deserving of this am I?

Glare of the Sun

A picture in a broken frame,
Surrounded by unwanted fame,
Looking through this mirror in disgrace,
The glass shatters and scars your face,

Tremors split the earth beneath us all,
Cracks through which many will fall,
Who will be the ones to fight back?
Who will be the ones to stand tall?

Stuck in a quiet disarray,
I will not make it through the day,
As all this pressure is placed on me,
The water is getting to deep to breath,

Tremors split the earth beneath us all,
Cracks through which many will fall,
Who will be the ones to fight back?
Who will be the ones to stand tall?

Awaken to a new day,
Put the shy and shame away,
Take the time to look around,
Take a step above the ground,
But do not look too deep into the sky,
For the glare of the sun may leave you blind.

Forbidden

When I look into your eyes,
I lose all track of time,
I want so bad to be in your arms,
To feel your lips on mine,

To hold you so close,
And run fingers down your spine,
No one cares no one knows,
What I feel inside,

If I have to endure much more of this,
I’d rather keel over and die,
Though not much time has been given,
I can’t help but wonder why,
How so long I’ve been living,
Without you at my side,

But I feel so forbidden,
Whenever you’re around,
My heart rate is on the rise,
But I can barely make a sound.

Take My Hand

So many times I've
Looked into your eyes,
Hoping you would realize,
Just what's inside,

Everything that we could be,
Is all I wanted you to see,
So now just take my hand,
And I'll show you who I am,

So many times I've
Run away and left behind,
A place too scared to face in mind,
A place too sacred and divine,

Everything that we could be,
Is all I hoped you'd ever see,
So please just take your in mine,
And we'll be together in due time.

What Are We?

It’s too late to compromise,

It’s too late to make amends,

How can you look me in the eyes,

And expect me to pretend?

I don’t know where this is going,

And I’m losing who I am,

I’m so sick of not knowing,

Do you only see me as a friend?

My Eternity

We are immortal,
We are the damned,
In blood we hide,
From light of which we despise,
This is what I've become,
Feeling ever so numb....
The immortal,
Those that are damned,
I.....we wonder the shadows,
Preying on the life of man,
We......I'm cursed,
This is what's become of me,
This is my eternity,
We are immortal,
We......I am the damned,
This is what my life has led to be,
THIS is my eternity.......my eternity

Never Forgiven

With hands tied behind my back,

I jump from this ledge never to react,

Sanity is still intact,

In a weaker way,

Falling faster into this every day,

Things are full of such regret,
With every step I take to forget,

Forgotten but not forgiven,

This crimson red form of living,

The choices made were my decision,

Forever forgotten,

But never forgiven....
