To Mother

There are no words to fully describe you
Beyond perfect in my own point of view
I'm forever grateful for my life
But without you i won't survive.

Your warmth have made me feel safe
In a world of uncertainty i struggled
But your words became my sword
Guiding me through the crossroads.

You selflessly devoted your life to us
Your own dreams and happiness aside
Your desires unknowingly forgotten
Your own trials and difficulties unspoken.

Your selfless acts, working tirelessly for us
Who loves unconditionally without expectations
Infinitely proud, grateful and honored
For between me and God, is an amazing mother.

Covid19 Pandemic

You swept the world out of its feet
Made it tumblin, chillin, crumblin
All of its parts seem to echo with crying
For you to stop, they all kept pleading

But with your sudden grand entrance
For an invisible enemy that you are
Noone's sure when this is gonna stop
Only to God Almighty's plan we trust.

You have been the toughest foe
With the countless lives you stole
The calamity-striken globe
Is down on its knees for hope.

Hope, kindled by the ones on the frontlines
Forgetting themselves for the sake of others
The unspoken heroism of our fellows
Flooding the world with care amidst the chaos.

So to you, COVID19 pandemic
You are yet the greatest test
But the world will never surrender
We are strong enough to win this battle.

Frontline Heroes

The coming of this pandemic noone have foreseen
A battle with an invisible, radical foreign
Such a killer that noone has ever seen
Stealing lives away leaving us all in grim

Yet there are heroes untold of their countless victories
Trying to save lives, they are willing to risk their own
Away from their loved ones, their hearts could go weary
But to their sworn duty, they get back up steadfastly

So that everyone could still keep their breaths
They wore heavy clothings, suffer consequences
They have braved all battles, so you continue living
While they try to resuscitate their own from ebbing.

Are you all willing to face this invisible foe?
Will you stand up for the sake of others?
Put your life aside to add breaths to those in need?
Your own precious life, to novel corona will you feed?

So you see it's not just as easy as you think
You say it's their job, they have to take the risk
Medical team are more than just professionals in hazmat suits
They are the hope of all nations, our dearest noble Frontline heroes.
