Ceaseless Affection

I knew a friend of mine who was in love
Love that was real, without doubt, and fear
A wall of trust which was unbreakable
And an overlay of feelings, uncontrollable

Her presence was always his favourite delight
He was always exuberant when he looked into her eyes
Not a day his love lessened, not even in the darkest night
Her thoughts would just make his heart jump with joy

She was beautiful and gorgeous from the inside out
She trusted him to the core without any doubt
Such a bond that was far from any evil eye
Little did she know that something foul was coming by

An intruder entered within the glimpse of an eye
The villain began to trouble her and started to try
Something inappropriate was done by this guy
He even started to blackmail with all sorts of lies

But her lover grabbed his collar, held him by the wall
The anger made him scream and shout
The rage chewed him up, he threw him down like a doll
He was ready to break his jaw and split him out

Maybe for a little while, he was put to shame
He did this for her chanting her name
Took all the abuses and the unnecessary pain
But his love for her helped him sustain

Don't lose him, girl, he's one of a kind
Not when in senses even if you lost your mind
Remember that his love for you will always multiply
Not just for now, but till he dies

The Cross Before Me and a World Behind Me

On a beautiful day, there stood a man
Amidst the troubles, under the scorching sun
He cannot be Happy and he never can
Who was seeking for help and there was none

Ten thousand thoughts ran in his head
Yet he chose to stand and wait
He had nothing, only tears to shed
It was his fate that he was always late

Late to class, late to work
Late to the very thing he did
People thought of him as a jerk
His world was messy and acrid

He always had the sparkle in his eyes
With a big fat smile on his face
Suddenly something made him realise
That he was no more in the race

It was a state of mind which he couldn't share
A secret he couldn't tell any
All he needed was love and care
All empty pockets, not even a penny

Even if he had money, it wouldn't help
Less was his time and killer wasn't late
A situation where he can only yelp
The word late now sounded very great

No years no months only days were there
A longing heart to see the light
He just concluded life wasn't fair
As he was alone and he had to fight

A battle with a winner who never lost
An opponent without any fame
A thief who demanded life as his cost
Can you guess his name?

The thief, the killer isn't a human
Until he gasped his last breath
Not any dream nor an illusion
It was nothing but his own death

The Time Is Here

Oh I’ve been hurt, oh I’ve been broke
Said by a person as its no joke
Experienced a dreadful pain, and a dingy stain
Outcome was zero, nothing to lose or to gain
A strange person who had a life
Stronger than an axe and sharper than a knife
Wished to be separate and invisible
Far from sight and out of every visual
Even the greatest hope couldn’t break the chains
As the Sorrow was running down the veins
Tired and sick of being the everyday sun
Where the instincts told just to run
Every decision that was taken
Was another chance to be mistaken
But now the time is here
To be happy again and to cheer
To learn who you are and what you can do
To know your capability and capacity too
There will always be someone new
Who would always say I’m here for you
Accept it and give it a try and see their worth
Then endure the life's rebirth
The broken soul will then set into fire
All that is needed is a desire to go higher
A small little baby bird which was about to die
Will now be as great as the eagle to soar above the sky

What If I Vanished Tonight

What if I vanished tonight
Just randomly out of the blue
Not sure what the future will hold on now
Just disappearing without a trace or a clue
Would it even matter anyone or
Would this even change anything?
Maybe a bad feeling could be seen in a few
Certainly it would vanish within a day or two
Would the memories vanish and would the bonds break?
Well if there weren't any it wouldn't I guess
But if there were few then it's worth it nevertheless
Was I just the dust in the air
Invisible but at least fair?
Or was I the ocean which appeared blue
whose colour is not even true
Did I even matter? What did I actually make?
Was it really me or was I fake?
Why did this? Just why?
Was our bond just a lie?
If true love was meant to be given, why did y'all make it?
If priority wasn't meant to be given, why did y'all fake it?
If promises were made to be broken, why make them?
If hearts aren't meant to be broken, why break them?
These thoughts surely wouldn't have led to me light
Only if I wasn't vanished tonight!

Today Is the Day

If today had bad experiences, today's not a bad day
I would smile a little more as it's my today
Today was ok so was yesterday
That's how I'll move on for the next day.

If today had struggles, today's not a bad day
I would work a little more as it's my today
Today will be ok, better than yesterday
That's how I'll go-ahead for the next day

If today had illnesses, today's not a bad day
I would laugh a little more as it's my today
Today I'll recover a little more than yesterday
That's how I'll continue for the next day

I can only change one day and today is the day
I'll bring out the best as it's my only today
Today can be the best so will be yesterday
If I do the same thing every day

I was the only reason for my yesterday
I am the only reason for my today
I will only be the reason for the next day
That's the optimism I need every day
