Hurly Burly

In the hurly burly of modern life,
Which is a long and painful strife,
Fighting against all odds of time
Rampant here all sorts of crime.

Redden’d with greed eyes fall no tear
Of law or God’s fury he has no fear
Heart writhes in the pool of blood
Emotions lost in the sway of flood.

No help, or rescue for the poor soul
Grabbing undue gain is one’s goal
Feeling and sympathy are all gone
Eden of humanity and hatred has grown.

Everybody is mad with so much power
Divine interference is the need of hour
Vice deadening the goodness of heart
For fear of evils,values,virtues depart.

Techie Life

Techie Life

A place, dark and dingy
Two eyes staring, swollen
Glued to the screen upright
Sucking blood with techie tongues.

A table though with no work
Yet piled up with drafts
Of the ability and capability
That forced it to sit on the chair.

A head with hair falling down
Flashing the dying scalp
Hands on the mouse
That eats into the flesh of romance.

Monthly perks and all that
With avarice of fleshy world
Blunted the edge of lofty thoughts
Once flourished in literary world.

Crazy Man

I am a crazy man
A speedy car,
A rash driving mind
With brakeless heart
Crushing over the feelings
Of those, close to me.

I am a thirsty man
In a vast ocean of life
With parched tongue
Drunken thoughts
And barren heart
Loitering in search of love.

I am a happy man
A never smiling face
With tearless eyes
Taking pleasure in
Suffering of others.

I am an ignorant man
An innocent child
Weeping for toys
To play for his fun
But tired and bored
Throwing them down to pieces.

Sometimes I Feel

Sometimes I feel neglected;
When somebody cares not for me,
Feelings feel crushed and shattered
Seas of sorrows overflow in me!!!!

Sometimes I feel frustrated:
When smiling leaves of my life
Are plucked by the cruel siren,
Trees of joy bemoan in me!!

Sometimes I feel devastated;
The flood of tears tears the heart
Swaying away the remains of life,
Veins, dying and dried, course in me!

Sometimes I feel suffocated;
When the wind with long nails
Caress my breathing life,
Sobbing soul cries out in me!

Sometimes I feel trapped;
In the imbroglio of mysterious romance
That leads me from one heart to another
In search of soothing shelter!

Sometimes I feel dejected
When rejected by the dear one
I have had in my heart since long
Blood of love has sunk in me!!!

Sometimes I feel elated
When all the sorrows engulfing me
Pave the way for panted feelings
Seeds of thoughts sprout in me!

Burial Ground

Star-studded sky
With blossoming blue light
Beautifying the grace
Of the flowing water
Making an eternal sound
Makes me spell-bound !

Sun-smeared sky
With flooded light
Falling on beautiful flowers,
Dews in the morning
Refreshing nature all around
Makes me spell-bound !

Cloud-cast sky
With thundering lights
hailing the howling wind
In the patter of rains
Damping all the ground
Makes me spell-bound !

Hurt heart-sky
With pleading tears
Praying for some balms
On the wounded mind
Of hapless humanity-
A growling hound
Makes me still
in the burial ground !

Prayer

O Great Father, your child is
Caught in the world of Evil.
Passion, woe and despair.
Long ruled by the Devil
Owing to ignorance
Deviated from the right path.
O!Mercy!Help!Redeem !
Show me your bright path.
No more !I pray thee
Keep me out of the dark night.
O God! harken my prayer
Guide through your bright Light.

Slap of Time

We are the rootless people
Uprooted from the originality:
Reality of the existence
Forgotton the source,
The seed of the past:
The plinth of our life.

The lap that cradled us in childhood,
The rod that alerted not to go astray,
The book that lighted our way,
The school that showered knowledge,
All have no meaning for us now.

Like a leafless stiff tree
With no shadow for the needy
Erected like a mountain in the desert
Showing the vainly pride and strength
Unaware of soundless slap of Time.

27th February

It is the day when you were born
In a family educated well known.
Spread fragrance with your smile
Gifted with talent and natural style.

How bewitching are your big eyes!
Before your face even Beauty shies.
How lucky I am to have your hand!
Feeling always as if in Divine Land.

So many things I have in my heart
We are one soul with double part.
On this eve something I want to say
Wishing my partner Happy Birthday.

Success

So what? If you don't succeed
Success sprouts from failure's seed
With hard toil and a little patience
Perseverance is our life's essence.

Days are not far away for the peak
From God, strength you must seek
Succes lasts longer, when comes late
Nothing snatches what is in your fate.

Never yield to any despair
Must deserve whats your share
Finally success will touch your feet
Accept what comes with true greet.

Happiness is but a state of mind
All the sorrow must leave behind.

Predicament

The predicament of human life
In the non existential planet
With slippery ground, so awesome
We can't walk with erected head.

One step ahead,anorther struck
In the pitfalls, tumbling down the body
Nosedived, injuries in the head
Covered with the hands blood smeared.

We still keep walking to the place
We actually don't know where till
We are led and led further
To the grand finale of life journey
Where no clapping echoes but eerie silence
Prevailing the special ground reverberating
With the sobbings of the audience.
