I Deserved a Better Life

I wanted to sing, play and dance,
Live every moment under the sun,
Why was I subjected to so much of misery?
I was shattered,
I deserved all that I claimed for honestly...(1)

Just as a fresh flower bud is nipped when it was about to flower,
A gentle gargling stream I was,
I began to roar into a mighty river....... (2)

Every living moment was seized from me,
All events around me crippled me and destroyed all my power..................... (3)

Just as a gigantic ocean were to be robbed from all its power,
A hapless, helpless being I was reduced to be.................................................... (4)

If the Supreme Lord approached me,
And gently asked me my only wish,
My only wish would be to travel back in time,
Live every moment gloriously,
With no bondages and pre-conditions on me...................................... .......... (5)

Zukeber the Brave

Zukeber was a valiant, brave and righteous king,
Who ruled a tiny island named Tic Toc Tea......................................................(1)

Zukeber learnt all the martial arts,
And equipped himself with unprecedented powers ................................................. (2)

He learnt the skills of horse riding, archery and sword fighting,
These only added to his incredible powers................................................ (3)

Zukeber was not just brave,
He was also kind and pure with unwavering faith..................................................... (4)

Zukeber doted on his subjects,
He happily fulfilled all that they desired..
......................................................... (5)

Zukeber's kingdom was a tiny island named Tic Toc Tea,
That was surrounded by the tumultuous sea................................................... (6)

The subjects of Tic Toc Tea lived peacefully,
Blessed as the kingdom was with divine powers................................................ (7)

Wizards and Oz of various forms and sizes,
Guarded the borders of the Empire................................................ (8)

And Lo as tidal waves change,
The mighty kingdom of Tic Toc Tea was attacked by Slaves. ........................ (9)

Zukeber had to save the kingdom,
To save the pride of his land was the need of the hour............................................... (10)

Zukeber scanned holy books,
To break the evil powers................... (11)

Only if a studded crest buried deep within the sea,
Was gently opened to release a bee,
Would the land of Tic Toc Tea be freed from the bondages of slavery........................ (12)

Zukeber mounted his big white horse,
Gently galloped across the land of Tic Toc Tea,
And reached the midst of the dreaded sea
............................................................... (13)

He gradually unlocked the treasure crest,
And effortlessly released the bee ......... (14)

As the bee was destroyed,
The slaves cried a huge sigh,
They tossed and turned around,
Until they finally died ...................... (15)

The subjects of Tic Toc Tea resumed their smiles,
The fast emerging peril was finally destroyed.......................................... (16)

Peace, Love and Harmony prevailed,
Zukeber ruled Tic Toc Tea for several thousand years since then................... (17)

Cross-Roads of Life

I stand at the crossroads of my Life,
Confused, Bewildered and Desperate.... (1)

Trying to unlock puzzles that surround me,
Making every attempt to escape the maze..(2)

Grief, Sorrow and Fear overwhelm me,
Unfair tryst with destiny prevails............... (3)

Let me breathe,
Let me try.................................................... (4)

Let me live the Life,
That I truly desire..................................... (5)
Let me sing,
Let me dance...................................... (6)

A free bird I desire to be,
Releasing all kinds of barriers effortlessly... (7)

I am in quest of a golden sky,
With hues that are bright, vibrant and mesmerize.............................................. (8)

Where every Pain and Suffering disappear,
Radiating Love and warmth that endear.... (9)

Thank You My Teacher

You held my hand when I cried,
You lifted my soul when I felt deprived.
You nurtured me, pampered me,
A young sapling I reached out for the skies.
......................................................................(1)

I owe my finesse in language,
To the pearls of wisdom that I imbibed.
I Thank You O my Teacher,
You were an indeed an angel in disguise........................................................(2)

Just as an artist were to sculpt a figure,
You brushed, polished and chiseled me with all your might,
I #ThankYouTeacher,
You indeed are the Hero of my Life....................................................... ...(3)

As I struggle facing the harsh realities of Life,
I wish that you could guide me all the while,
My stormy Life that jolts violently,
Through your foresight could transform to a passive serene sea....................................... (4)

I Thank You O My Teacher,
Your relentless efforts have brought about the best in me.................................................. (5)
