Krislyn Panugayan Poem
Stainless steel pot is bubbling
On top of the fire
Inside my tasty sour soup
Of onions, pork, yam
Tamarind and spice
A Pinoy
Treat!

Krislyn Panugayan Poem
The bright sun was scourging hot
Under the blue beach
I craved for sugared dessert
Of cold milk, fruits, beans
Jellies, on top of
My sweet ice
Cream!

Krislyn Panugayan Poem
Wrapped in dough like small flowers
Cuisine from the past
Filled fillings from all seasons
Stood the test of time
Sideline dish with tea
Ready for
Me!

Krislyn Panugayan Poem
I have spend three to four years with you, my friends,
Together we enjoy life as if it would never end.
But times will never be the same,
And God had not promised a constant day.
In our life, we must always venture the unknown,
Face the challenges and overcome our foes.
God had not promised a clear blue sky,
But He had always promised strength and light.
Our road of success is always near,
We'll reach it if we only try.
No matter how rugged and steep it is,
With faith and hope, we will survive.
See the world with our eyes and heart.
Listen to the wind of each passing day.
Know in this world that we have a wonderful part.
Give the world our everlasting love.
That's what make us deserving studenrs,
For the diploma that we will gain in the end.

Krislyn Panugayan Poem
Summertime in Philippines
Where cart vendors park
Thirsty customers line up
To taste the cool fruit
Young sweet coconuts!
Pure Local
Juice!

Krislyn Panugayan Poem
He took my word
And walked away
I slammed the door
And let the future sway
The cold wind blows
Unbound to my fate
Destined to go away
Deaf to my crave
Years gone by
Our skin starts to rot
Age burdens our soul
Lives are tied in knot
This only time
Tears began to flow
Hands began to tremble
The wind again flows
I reminisce the past
Regret my future
I looked at the door
I shouldn’t have slammed it before

Krislyn Panugayan Poem
Crimson juice poured unto it
Cheddar toppings dripped
Scent of spice with veggie meat
Cooked slow, garnish neat
Macaroni treat
My Birthday
Gift!

Krislyn Panugayan Poem
I dream of a world
Where all the four seasons mingled in harmony:
The summer sun casts its fire upon us
In which its warm and glow shone with hope in our hearts
Pushes us to the limit
And entangled us with its passionate ember
The winter breeze casts its spell upon us
Blowing the cold air like prancing fairies
Reaching up to the mountain alps
Climbing with ease, trotting the icy pathway
Sacrificed by love, the wind moves on and on
The autumn leaves fall in agony
Sob in its very own tears
Chained with painful memories
Its spirit flew away
Its life trap in perpetual misery
The colorful spring came along
With music and parade behind its tail
The flowers sing the song of harmony
The river flows away the misery
The calm wind blows with nature's love
The sun shines down hope into our hearts

Krislyn Panugayan Poem
She crept through darkness
In the graveyard she dug
Looking for her love
Her one and only love
Her heart pumps scarlet drops
As her eyes search for the sorrow
Of black birds flying
Soaring through the gray clouds
She walks alone
In an unfilled world
Trotting in the damp soil
That was once passed by zombies
Once there was a girl
So beautiful and fair
Her father told her
To learn and love life and death
Life is clear
But death is turbid
She met life
But now she had met death
Death is too dark to learn
Too sinister to love
Agonized by a dream
She walks alone…
Once there were two lovers
Untouched by entangled veins
Unbound by moist paste
They live within each other
They met life
But now they had met death
One has flew away
Leaving the other still entangled
A crow flew by a window sill
Over the head of a dark castle
It stormed
It rained
Within the fortress of torture
Lies a curtailed statue
With a mislaid heart
And a missing soul
It thunders
It lights
Crimson water flows like wine
Over the unfinished effigy
She walks alone
In the dark deep grave
Digging and digging
Wailing and weeping
After centuries of search
She found the life with no soul
She caught the crow flying
She found the missing heart
She uncover the puzzle
Of life and death
She sew her body with it
And bound it within herself
She started to sip on the crimson juice
She unplug the entangled veins
And gobbled it up like a grand gorge
While she sang her bleeding song
The material is finished
With nothing left but the frame
It then rained
Her heart stormed with pain
She walks alone again
On the empty damp earth
Raised her head to view the sky
And found the crow flying again
Years gone by
The frame rots into ash
She now found herself flying
But now, still with the partial bronze

Krislyn Panugayan Poem
You walked pass my door
And scurried down the lane
Opposite my direction
Contradictory to my pain
The road is near
Yet the thoughts are far
Every now and then
You were cold from the start
I cracked an earthly smile
Gleaming behind my teeth
They were dark from bleeding
Yet you were blind to glimpse
Meek as you might be
Only to find me as a simple friend.
I was dumb from the beginning
Not knowing where I end
Dreaming of future days
Is the only way
Planning to be happy
Is like a melted clay
Blood linked lines opposite my heart
Heavenly cheers behind my rear
Rebellious faces waiting to annoy
Colors of the soul ran amok
How is my heart set up for this?
Different languages mixed
I try to smile as my heart runs wild
But you never know what I desire
