Scary Quarantine

At last came the long Lockdown
It is so agonizing for doubtful countdown
I feel we are living in a darkened cage
With the gaze on calendar for counting days.

Like a storm,Corona virus swept the lands
All advised not to shake hands
Shop shut,bank shut,school shut
Do I use mask for virus or mouthshut?

Groceries, All deny to lend
With my kids I find time to spend
Trying to cook smart and yummy
Covid-19 alerts to keep starving tummy

Alas ,The only concern now is the pandemic fear
Thinking what is far and what is near
It is hurting to watch infirmary scene
May we soon come out of this scarry quarantine.

Why Should I Blame Mobile Phone

Love to live in a digital world
To rap electronic gizmos has become unfurled
Here is my poem to pen my tone
Why should I blame mobile phone

Go on surfing to ponder world news
Frequent buffering make me blows
if the network is ever failure-prone
Why should I blame mobile phone

Downloads and uploads,I prefers to do
Thinking, what next to be in the Data queue
If the memory card consumption is unknown
Why I should blame mobile phone

Ever ready to peek new WhatsApp messages
Gradually switching to scrolling images
If excess indulgence makes me lazybone.
Why should I blame mobile phone

Watching videos on YouTube round the clock
Cannot go on ,Without a glimpse on tiktok
If Pressure on eyes make my sight worsen
Why should I blame mobile phone

With all wishes, happiness, friends and leisure
Still I find flaws in an electronic treasure
My conscience questions me in a halcyon
Why should I blame mobile phone.

The Tiddly Kids

The Tiddly kids

It is blissful to play with toddling fries
Like a teeter totter butterfly

To wake-up from bed before the sunrise
Like an alarm clock with an innocent cry

With gestures, they try all task to tackle
Cheer us all using tiny tongue to babble

Often Find fun to play with singing toys
Hurling, breaking and fixing seldom annoys

Climbing stairs like a filmy stunt with no fear Certainly Fall to knees and filled eye with tears

Take a chance for tearing pages out of books
Yet choppy reading style reminds traditional folks

Love to take shower in the bathing tub
With mild soap on torso, but not on face to rub

Ever ready to take round in any street
Make me giggle with shoes on wrong feet

Silently and secretly,Eats all unwanted items
To feed nutritional , I need to bear all tantrum

Go to bed like a full-time tired plumber
It's so nice to see them with sweet slumber

Aah! What an amazing life with Beautiful phase
Wish I could go back to my childhood days
