Fertile Fields

Fertile Fields
By Migdalia Torres

A cobbled stone made of red brick, which
I picked up and placed on a solid white
rock pressed against Venus whose tales of
Fertile Fields were just not true

The myths of the Greek Goddess Blue Moon
which shined against the Valleys Green Tall Fields
brought to mind of a Paper Copy Photo I had
of her riding upon a Big Charade of Fire, being pulled
by Two White Pegasus

I started to walk alone in the Center of the
Field, when suddenly a Big Strong Breeze
blew the photo out of my hands and into a
Big Leafless Oak Tree

Then a Storm gusted Tornado Wind blew and raise
the old photo past the clouds and into the
midnight sky

Good-Bye I waived to the paper photo

You are right to be set free

The Fertile Fields will become fertile once again when all the
Greek Goddesses join Venus and come down as friends

Addiction My Friend

Addiction my Friend
Poet: Migdalia Torres

No one knows the shadows that fall when

addiction rules a minor’s soul

Addiction my friend that raises me

Lord help me not to pretend,

The hell I am going through to concord this

Addiction my friend, it will be to the end

Farewell to Hope, Love, and Glory

No one will know until I am buried in this snow

Addiction my friend we will depart only at the end

God forgive my soul, for addiction took its toll

Now no one cares, but the addiction was there in my time of despair

Addiction my friend that raises me

This virus took my soul,

but the addiction was there to comfort my pain and sorrow

Addiction my friend you fail me at the end

Addiction my friend that raises me

Come Here Sweetly

COME HERE SWEETLY
	BY: MIGDALIA TORRES

	Come here Sweetly
I know you are my friend

	Come here Sweetly
I want to know your Name

	I am Robin Rock
	Who walks along the way
To Grandma’s House away I will go
and meet Sweetly on the way

	Come here Sweetly
I need to know your Name

	Come here Sweetly
My Wolf Pack is at Bay

Take another look and place another Hook today
for Children like you are my Bait,
and tastes sweetly just the same

	Come here Sweetly
	and don’t you walk away

	A Fire Pit is Boiling
	I’ll have some Meat today;

A Wolf Gang always gets his way
A Wolf Gang never walks away

	So come here Sweetly
	I’m Broiling You Today!

	HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

One Foggy Evening

ONE FOGGY EVENING
	POET: MIGDALIA TORRES

One Foggy Evening
of dry mist and snow

I saw a strange lady
walking in a Black Cape
on her way to her Grave

As she turned into the Icy Forest
I could see she was not alone

For a Kind Old Gentleman
had to shield her from the Ice Pellet Storm

That is when I turned to see a Graveyard smiling back at me

Two Lost Souls in the Foggy Mist will now lay in a restful sleep

Take care young lady and kind Old Sir
For I am praying for both your lost souls

It must have been a bitter life for you both which you lead
until this Guardian Angel will lay you both to rest

Oh Father What Fear

OH FATHER WHAT FEAR
SONGWRITER: MIGDALIA TORRES

OH FATHER - OH FATHER
WHAT FEAR - WHAT FEAR
ON SEPTEMBER 11,2001
THE TERROR CAME NEAR

AS I SAT AND WATCHED HELPLESS
I SHED ALL THOSE TEARS, YOU SEE THERE
WAS SO MANY PEOPLE CRYING WITH FEAR

THE HELL OF THOSE TWO AIRPLANES FIRES
HAD MADE THE TWO TWIN TOWERS DISAPPEAR
ALL THOSE PEOPLE SCREAMING BROUGHT ABOUT ALL MY FEARS

THE DUST COVERED MOST OF DOWNTOWN NEW YORK CITY
WHAT LIES AHEAD WAS ONLY PANIC AND FEARS

OH FATHER-OH FATHER
I AM CALLING YOU TO SETTLE MY FEAR
I SEE MY FRIENDS AND CO-WORKERS BODIES
AND BEGAN SCREAMING IN FEAR

YOU SEE I KNEW MY LOVE ONES
WE'RE WATCHING THE TWO TWIN TOWERS DISAPPEAR
I REACHED FOR MY CELL PHONE TO HEAR FOR THE LAST TIME
“I LOVE YOU” MY DEAR

AS MY LOVE ONE WAS CRYING AND SAYING HANG ON MY DEAR,
THERE WAS A LOUD RUMBLE AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS HERE

AFTER THE DUST HAD CLEARED AWAY
I SAW JESUS APPROACHING WITH HIS BAND OF ANGLES
TO SETTLE MY FEARS

O'LORD - GIVE US YOUR BLESSING AND CALM DOWN MY FEARS
FOR THIS IS WHAT I KNEW WHAT WAS TO HAPPEN FOR SO MANY YEARS

AS I LAY HERE UNDERNEATH THIS CRUMPLING BUILDING
PRAYING IN FEAR
I THOUGHT ABOUT ALL THOSE YEARS OF INSANITY, HATE, AND TERROR
THAT HAS HAUNTED ME IN THE NEWS FOR SO MANY YEARS

PLEASE LORD- OPEN THE GATES OF HEAVEN
FOR AS IN DEATH, I SHALL WALK YOUR PATH SO DEAR

OH FATHER- OH FATHER
PLEASE SEND AN ANGEL TO MY FAMILY AND REMIND THEM
I LOVE THEM ALL SO DEAR

TO FINALLY MEET MY DESTINATION IN JESUS LOVING ARMS
THAT’S THE PATH WHICH NOW APPEARS, BLESSED IS YOUR
KINGDOM IN HEAVEN FOR I SEE A RAY OF LIGHT; ALONGSIDE
A BED OF ROSES, WHICH TELLS ME DEATH IS FINALLY HERE

I FEEL WARMTH AND COMFORT NOW, I AM NO LONGER IN FEAR,
FAREWELL, TO ALL MY LOVE ONES
GOD BLESS YOU FOR ALL THE COMING YEARS

Land of Dreams

Land of Dreams
By Migdalia Torres

Land of Dreams
Candy-colored beams
Tree streams of Yellow Lemon Dew Drops

Red, Green and Blue Gumballs Cars

The path to Rainbow City covered with Peppermint Boat Docks

Sugar Cane Boats floating thru a Chocolate covered River

All sorts of Colored Coded Candy, that is sure to please

A little boy and little girls wish would sure to have a Candy Land Adventure in the Land of Dreams
