Pooja Trivedi Poem
He who dwells in my heart
Has strengthened it with his infinite love
Never does it cease to remind me
Of how important I am, even if my world's torn apart.
He who is the beginning and end of my every thought
Has purified it with compassion and care
Never does it cease to remind me
Of how divine I am when I am disdained and distraught.
He who is every word spoken and unspoken
Resides in my senses and reigns my world
Is the source of divine love and happiness
And is the creator of my thoughts that are pure and innocent.
For he is the source of my existence
The reason of my existence
The thrill derived out of existence
And the ultimate meaning of my whole existence.

Pooja Trivedi Poem
Hiding behind the clouds while crawling stealthily
The lady in white visits every window jovially
Her smoky white freckles smile surreptitiously
Infusing love in the air invisibly.
She whitens and brightens the darkest path
With her snowy aura, she unravels the mysterious earth's heart
With every ray, she delves deeper
And embarks on her journey to liven earth's interior
The lady in white is the most sought after
By lovers and loners, in evenings and thereafter
For she hearkens to every word of heart
And plays the consort without falling short.

Pooja Trivedi Poem
I am free, I’m aware of who I am,
I am free, my courage says, ‘I can’,
I am free; my thoughts are not clasped and bounded in chains,
I am free; life’s not worth livin’ without the lesson of pain.

Pooja Trivedi Poem
I slog in the chasms of darkness and bask in the glory of light,
I cherish every moment of learning and very humbly rebuff pride.
I consider Hope as my truest friend, and seek blessings from the divine,
For without Hope, there cannot be a pathway from darkness to light.

Pooja Trivedi Poem
I close my eyes to old ends and open my heart to new beginnings;
For beginning is the most important part of any work.
I struggle, persevere, toil and wrestle,
I spare no effort to achieve the unachieved,
To reach greater heights and new destinations,
For I believe, that life begins at the end of our comfort zone.

Pooja Trivedi Poem
I inherit the abundance of Earth’s positivity,
I possess the will and determination of the divine fire,
I seek endless inspiration from the giver of life,
I am always at peace with me, for I am the abode of Gods,
I breathe life into the very existence of life itself.

Pooja Trivedi Poem
Sometimes, I wish to smile, sometimes I wish to cry
Just to find nobody around to give me fanciful replies
‘Tis such times when I yearn for a listener
Who’d provide me with a shoulder
And laugh at my silly jokes
Cry with me when provoked
Bearing this in mind, I beseech you all
To be by friend by accepting my call
For our lives are short, the world’s too small
And we shall meet again in a creation;
Far above us it stands, mighty and tall.

Pooja Trivedi Poem
I’m created of dust just like you
Born of a man’s vigour just like you
I’ve been raised and fed just like you
Man, I’m also a human, just like you.
I wish to be loved, just like you
I wish to be cared for, just like you
Oh! I wish to live life, just like you
Man, I’ve been asked to compromise for family, why not you?
I wish to prove my strength, just like you
I wish to touch the skies, just like you
I wish to be loved and respected, just like you
Man, I will attain equality and liberty and be one of you.

Pooja Trivedi Poem
Right to refuse?
Do I have the right to refuse?
To a child who's willing to learn
Every ounce of knowledge old and new
And remain a learner through and through
Do I have the right to refuse?
To offer help that is due
To the old, young and my chosen few
Who are awaiting what's expected of you
Do I have the right to refuse?
To give love and to receive
For that's what we are here for
And shall continue to be
For until the lesson of love is learned,
We shan't cease to be.
