A Mother Earth Etc

In the whisper of a moonlight stream I heard her sigh or so I thought,
in the rustle of a mottled deer in oak pine forests I heard her weep or thought I did,
or maybe laugh when flitting brightly over jagged rocks.
Upon the silver tides a figure fitting her description swam or maybe drowned or even vanished in the neon haze.
Earth mother, birth mother, bosom to an infant chain,
whose layered womb pulses to infinity,
whose foetal spark aches
for her many sibling forms to coalesce or come to term.

Masks

On buses, trains, crowds
they must be worn, but then we
always do, don’t we!

Wild And Free

Psyches on the edge
Psyches going wild
Wild child oh so daring
Wild one hellish bold
Bold and downright brazen
Bold though fiercely blind
Blind to subtle logic
Blind eyed scourge
Scourge imposed on others
Scourge the plague of self
Self damned sinking vessel
Self whose clearly lost
Lost on deep meaning
Lost boon fellow now
Now I must reflect
Now transform or heal
Heal some wretched burden
Heal this stricken heart
Heart that beats with pathos
heart when wondrous glad
Glad a buoyant vision
Glad I promptly changed
Changed barren outlook
Changed complex-ridden life
Life as joyful premise
Life based on love
Love weaves magic dreams
Love induces spells
Spells I adopt
Spells alter mindset
Mindset yours or mine
Mindset chasing peerless time
Time a spur for dormant brain
Time awash with thinking
Thinking valued options
Thinking of growth
Growth of mental wellness
Growth our golden gift
Gift to cosset and explore
Gift as relish
Relish inner calm
Relish broad spectrum issues
Issues within reach
Issues sleight and grand
Grand scheme on horizon
Grand environment free
Free in every single sense
Free from vapid earthly care
Care…
Sense…

Trumpet vine / creepers nectar source for voracious bird.

A Haunting Spot

Pearl
rapids
steam cascade
haunting canvass
a red dawn smoulder
to prise sluggish eyelids
of zestful bright mood riser
who gulps in rapt awestruck spoonfuls
of mosaic zone enthralled enclave
awash with random sun drenched blue pool plops
Where giddy children cast green hue pebbles
as dulcet birds tweet from gaunt elm twigs
and rainbow trouts skim silver streams
wet grass clumps sag on mud banks
a grey fleck morning haze
that scene shift migrant
a spring usher’s
mint leaf scent
in faint,
gust

Who Are We At Our Core

An evanescent bouquet of skewed briars,
is how a tinsel laden tawdry essence wickedly unfolds,
scuppered signpost to my fetid human compost,
faint light pendant on soul crushed quantum migrant,
who might chortle at vivid veil flimsy vacuum,
skirt recklessly the bogus symbol moiety around me,
peer behind the squalid limp sodden hedge,
mock myopic moribund mist upon boundary busting dawn chimera,
sneer at synthetic spectrum stretch an irritating tidal wave surfeit,
cerulean fabric‘s milky way escapist plot,
in a perilous quest for that eternal tape loop mantra,
the synaptic heart of that vainglorious horizon,
self-knowledge under charcoal moon and silver beam veneer,
or feral waste rapid fire contagion set ablaze,
the indecisive day glow dither on the margins,
of fly weight feeble frantic dash as I squirm,
that velvet shadow treason daubed pettifog,
I’ve known as tangential wanton cobweb fester creed,
the mind a bloated ripple vortex numbing in its scope,
golden stream mirage but faux fur glib concoction,
against the banal backdrop of complex-ridden superficial eddy,
from floral garland poseur stricken en train,
that is mine to decipher without relish or reward,
some Vox pop indignation mere shrinking violet showcase waver,
such blur-hued truth has this dastardly demonic derailment,
that I brush aside as spiteful oxalic sting repost,
that deceptive mint green forest of chameleon cant,
sly nuanced molten maple syrup spoon-feed hint,
from out of kilter rainbow tree pierced otherworld,
unseen yet bliss-vase dream garden of firm outlook,
not just from isolated enigmatic individual script,
such as torrid turbulence or mindless scattered rim shot,
when convention can be altered in exotic prose,
human zeitgeist has this far too often penchant,
for silkworm rapt effervescent double speak,
whilst plain unvarnished uplifting utterance I exude,
resides within the deep crystal spring well,
of us torch aloft emerald earthling sages,
please augment the rock buttress stark phrase,
congenital in its immunity from decay or tarnish,
whose bluntness is a transforming carrier pigeon,
devoid of muted grey cloud blind waffle,
aromatic sprig to giant spasm of bold pluck,
monumental plight of our indigenous planet,
frightened cliques, hidebound yes men who yearn,
to swim the azure sunlit gulf of august freedom,
to that Eden where lucid tongues herald pristine witness,
where values at the centre of our being should flourish,
let the lustrous pearl of clutter free infant wisdom,
be that anchor of the universal majesty hankered after

In the Cycle Of Existence

On reflection, a shining mirror lays my core ethos bear,
inkling etched on mien can’t escape deep probing,
tilted jaw, gleaming eyes, vivacious aspect,
express an ardent quest for exponential flourish,
in this life of mine, and its manner of existence,
and the earnest cycle now associated with it,
without a trace of hesitancy I immediately act,
to be that person who channels every second for enhancement,
for my own bespoke becoming of an innovator,
in those multi-layered disciplines I’m mysteriously drawn to,
a dogma free advancement to the benefit of everyone,
one must eschew unbridled selfishness as nowhere vacuum,
as I reject with utter scorn a puerile martyrdom,
allied to strict neurotic self-denial,
this cycle of my being as celestial clued carpet,
with a hazy incipience that defies abrupt finale,
the universe is an unsung aquifer of odds-on opportunity,
in this circular continuance I strive to encompass,
for the zestful miner of mineral rich thoughtful seams,
of the shrewd enigmatic miscellany,
inner wealth as sapphire twinkle gem,
jewels that tantalise the legendary pioneer,
larger than life figure both historical and current,
I seek to be that person who has a craving for life,
in all its convoluted carousel complexities,
never thwarted by stubborn cyclic ring fence,
from a previous or contemporary existence,
as I glance with a portrait artist’s ardent inferno,
or a brain endowed Einstein awash in tangents,
who revels in an innovative pearl rich spree on tap,
I can immerse myself in hectic gaiety as sheer abandon,
allow myself to be engulfed by macrocosmic benefaction,
on a flamboyant side span found loitering in dizzy contours,
this mind of mine a buoyant wayfare whose growth endemic,
a gazer into every green elemental habitat’s criterion,
urban outskirt, townscapes exploit, scenic rural fingerprint,
I am that quintessential roving rural rambler,
in awe of sylvan stream,
the foaming cascade’s icy tingle,
algae tangle river gush that spumes and swirls,
whilst the eye can feast on mint green paddocks,
savour strident tweets from ruffled song birds
the sapphire cloud buster,
o’er gaunt shadow mountain peak,
elevated unicorn of bygone whisper,
but there are other finespun bookmarks,
tantalising in their closeness to that bud of effervescence,
within the compass of the newly found stout heart,
cities and their otherworld alleyways, quaint cul-de-sacs, and moonlit haze sprinkled lantern luminance,
streets that meander into cobblestone sidewalks,
where accidental brush with deft panjandrum manifests,
nowadays I never shirk or shy away,
from transition to that first faint foot step,
undaunted as I brazenly ascend in eventual composure,
they all elicit jewels of stanzas from me,
in my spellbound odyssey so broad and eclectic,
the unquenchable thirst for enlightenment,
now such an obvious iron clad spur,
cherished life long lasting goals,
based on concrete in depth zeal,
to eschew the least scintilla of hidebound reticence,
for an individual iridescent acme,
of unembellished pneuma, once seen beyond the bounds

Utter Silken Threads

Listen to the forest in the depth
of one’s mind and craft
arresting soundscapes
from within.
Gaze into a spectral morning
dazzling anew and watch
those scales that slither
from one’s eyes,
Utter silken threads that pulse each vein
with choral church bells ascending
 thru a literati conduit.
Wallow in the cascade of an oceanic blue
and cherish every vital sea green moment
