Life

Yesterday is gone
Yesterday is dead
Today is here weeping
Weeping at her sisters departure

Today is growing and going
To be buried as yesterday
Time and time
Say we tarry not

Tomorrow is an unborn orphan
Everyday is a still born
The future shall come to now
And every now shall become then

So shall every living man
Who treads
The orbit of life
Sink and pass away
Such is life.

You Are Loved

It wasnt planned, it feels odd.
Old forgotten feelings warming up.
Barriers setting in.
Distance is just one,.
You gat a wall, i have to scale to you.
The feeling is weird, but it's perfect.
I'm ready to take it one step at a time.
And walk with you, all the way.
No matter how bumpy.
You are loved.

Mother

A mother is such a treasure
And she gives great pleasure
At home it is a great delight
Her radiance a bright light.

Burden difficult to bear
But how to me she is so dear
How she fuses that I should eat
She declares I look mean and tired.

Without a response
Advice she sponsors
On how to bear life's many worries
Though impossible seems her stories
I have them all true
To me, mother is such a great treasure
She brings with her great pleasure.

Don'T Ever Leave

Your real smile I don't want to loose
Like those things we used to say and do
I still want to experience
Don't ever leave me.

Temptation might employ your mind
For nature's sake protect me
You are the close bud of my happiness
Don't ever say goodbye.

You made me know what love is
I never knew it will be so real
Now that I am involved
Don't ever leave me.

Circle of Confusion

In the lowest of it all
One rises
Shining like that lone star
Brighter than all other stars
It rays glistening.
Bright light peeping
through the shells and
walls of the heart
peeling and melting dark shades
Lighting paths that
lights have not in ages seen
Bringing glints of happiness
and wide smiles
Healing and mending  little pores,
Shedding brightness inside the dome.
Making two as one.

Cleaning up messes.
Making whole.
reviving dead plants.
making flowers bloom
Oh the beauty it is to behold
Radiating in all its glory
What a relive from pains,
hurts and sadness harboured

Oh what joy
What peace
The search comes to a standstil
Triumphant has love become

And then
The clouds formed
The blue sky turned black
The beauty faded
Flowers died and lost their bloom
Leaves dried and trees withered
How so soon darkness over came the light
The search for light began again
Darkness no longer a comfortable companion

Either way it goes
Far away at the end of certain tunnels
Glimmer ray's of hope
Just maybe,
This Light has come to stay.

Spooky Sisters

The clarion call, are coming down the stairs.
Holding specters and beholding stares
to the spooky sisters,
They are the only heirs

The spooky sisters of the square tables
In showing love the aren't able
With dice and cards they gamble
Beware of them is no fable

To behold what graceful image they carry
Even in their deepest rage
Elegance and pride is their only carriage
No matter the time, year or age

Brining an end to the spooky tales
They demand fate and praise
They deserve glory
whatever they've done
They are never sorry.

IT FADED FAST

It was beautiful, until it wasn't,
A fleeting dream, a moment's thought.
We rushed in, hearts ablaze,
But soon, the fire turned to ashes and shame.

I held on tight, with hopeful heart,
Believing love would play its part.
But kisses sweet turned to pain,
And pushed me away, like summer rain.

I thought I could be the change,
The reason he'd rearrange.
His heart, his ways, his loving gaze,
But love, it seems, had other plans and ways.

We shared a love that soared so high,
But crashed and burned, and said goodbye.
Happiness turned to discontent,
And our love story became a lament.

Yet, in the ashes, I'll find my strength,
A lesson learned, a heart that's lengthened.
For love, though painful, is divine,
And in its beauty, I'll redefine.

Take time to heal, to mend, to grow,
To find the love that truly glows.
For you, dear heart, deserve the best,
A love that lasts, that passes the test.

Self love

The hurts you can't express
The love you cannot give up
Tears are familiar, happiness a distant foe.
Walking on tiptoe, pain stabbing through the muscle
Endorphin's clash with oxytocin gentle might
Pain so vivid, hearts breaking to million pieces

Self love it is....

REBIRTH

I know how many times I betrayed me.
How many times I chose them over me.
How much of my worth I gave to people who never deserved a second of my time.

I gave my all to the undeserving.
To the selfish.
To the weak.
To those who couldn’t even respect themselves, let alone me.
I poured everything into nothing.

But that ends NOW.

I’m awake.
It’s not too late.
This is my rebirth.

From here on out.
I CHOOSE ME.
Every. Damn. Time.

No one touches my mind, body, or heart unless they earn it.
I will not be trampled.
I will not be broken.
I rise. I burn. I soar.

Like the phoenix, untouchable. Unstoppable.

Because I am me.
I am my mother’s daughter.
And I am DONE settling.
