Maybe One Day

Maybe one day.

Good bye to my sorrows
Hello to my darkness
I fell without you
This whole time I’ve felt unconscious

Thank you for abandoning me
Thank you for being so heartless
You’re selfish
You’re deceiving
Your whole life has been triumphant

Maybe it was me
Not maybe, it was all me
I did these things
I made you flee

Thank you for disowning me
Thank you for destroying me
My brain is now thoughtless
My heart is under constant attack
My soul is now on a dark track

Runaway from me
I Destroyed you
I undermined everything you say
I’m controlling and destructive
I only seen the point in my way.

You and I it’s no longer we
Because WE could CONQUER anything
You and I just crumble at the scene
We’re two of the same
You and me: both crazy, both loving, both deranged
Seeing life as a pattern
But never wanting to stay the same.

We will wake up in years
We will still remember each other’s name
As time goes on, the memories of good will stay the same
The bad will fade, it will go away
Because love in your heart always stays the same.

Thank you for giving up on us
Thank you for seeing it your way
This is what life will be like
This is our life till the dying day

I truly hope the best for you
I always wanted you to stay
My heart is forever broke
Yours has been here before
Yours will live to see another day.

Let the pieces sit
Let them decay
Over time our thoughts will not be the same
I ruined what was good by trying to be your everything and more
I tried to be the one you needed
But I realize you need more
Our love is different
That fact is torn
I never realized how our love was still pure
How our love is still being born

One day maybe
One day we will see that you and I can continue to be WE.

Darkness Surrounding

Darkness surrounding

The darkness it seems
That plague that kills our dreams
The depression surrounding our souls
That feeling of never being whole

The darkness is all around
That same noise that doesn’t make a sound
The thoughts in your head
That make you wish and hope you were dead

The rain was beautiful
That dream was real
The darkness took control
That pill just had to seal the deal

The past is over
That familiar sound hovers
The future isn’t near
That death depression is my fear

The darkness surrounding
That feeling is channeling
The darkness has won
That soul is now gone.

The Social Delay

The social delay

For the attention we seek
To feel the wind beneath our feet
For the likes we receive
To feel joyfulness in our cheeks

For the people we don’t know
To make our soul fill whole
For the people we relate
To make them people imitate

For the comments we read
To the social media received
For the LOL’s we get
To make us forget

For it’s not all bad
To the posts that make us gag
For we can all relate
To make us feel at this state

For the delay of interaction
To seeing social media as their attraction
For reading their posts
To demanding there boasts

For we our in social delay
To somehow see our personas decay
For we can survive
To see human interaction once again be on the rise.
