I can feel how much you care
Being in your arms
I know there is nothing to fear
Being in your your arms
Is where I feel loved and safe
Being in your arms
Makes everything just melt away
Being in your arms
Brings my mind a little bit of peace
Being in your arms
Is a place that I never want to leave

She lets other people fill her head with doubts
She doesn't understand exactly why
She lets other people bring her down
She doesn't understand exactly why
Everyone judges her the way they do
She doesn't understand exactly why
They run their mouths without knowing the truth
She doesn't understand exactly why
So many things are becoming so confusing
She doesn't understand exactly why
She allows others to hurt her feelings
She doesn't understand exactly why
People don't take the time to listen
She doesn't understand exactly why
She lets other people get under her skin
She doesn't understand exactly why
She keeps trying when every attempt is a failure
She doesn't understand exactly why
She has become so untrusting and unsure

How can I
Let him into the part of my heart that I hide

Tell him what is going on in my mind
How can I
Share all of my hopes and dreams
How can I
Reveal that secret part of me
How can I
Give him every part of my hear and all of my love
How can I
Tell him that I don't think I am good enough
How can I
Let him into the part that is still shattered and broken

When I am so scared of getting hurt once again
