Tick Tock

All tick no tock just like a broken clock
Instead I’m a broken doll

If the inside was out then you could see
What it feels like…feels like to be

Just like a broken doll

Neck and arms ben at an awkward angle
Heart hanging from a thin thread so that it dangles

Just like a broken doll

A long crack up my back held together with tape
A mind so twisted and filled with hate

More than a broken doll

No crazy glue to fix it, what can make it better
I try not to cry as the tape just gets wetter

What can fix a broken doll?

Type Love

What happened to that movie type love
That I can’t breathe without you type love
That pushing you up against the door to take you type love
That rubs your back because it’s been a long day type love
That listens to your hopes and dreams type love
That doesn’t care about you being silly type love
That laughs at your corny jokes and behavior type love
That holds you up when you’re falling type love
Tat gets on your nerves but still shows they care type love
That doesn’t hold your mistakes over your head type love
That loves you back up when you’re feeling down type love
That loves to be around you type love
That loves you because you’re you type love
What happened to that type love

Question

He said: Do you allow a man to be a man
I said: Please explain I don’t understand
He said: You know what I mean, don’t be coy
I said: I’m becoming torn, how can I stop you from being what you were born
He said: I can you tell you would and now you’re playing games
I said: I think you’re lost, you can’t even explain
Lemme have a minute to talk this through,
I would have never though you felt this way when I first talked to you
How can I allow you to be what you were born to be
You’re a man by birth, should be a man in your mind
If you allow a woman to run you that’s your problem not mine
You should figure yourself out before you talk to me
I know exactly who I am you see
I don’t have time for you to figure out who you are
You’re far too old to not understand
A woman can’t stop a man from being a man
