Moses Mccord Poem
Time’s like water – it runs through your hands
Before you know it, you’re an old man
Don’t be one to question how you lived out life’s demands
While missing the flowers in the sand
Tell her that you love her
Don’t let another day go by
Take them by the river
Teach them how to fly
Time’s like a river that’s flowing fast and clear
We will never again be here
It’s so easy to live by fear as time slips through the years
Grab hold of today and keep it near
Show her that you see her
Don’t let another day go by
Take them by the river
Teach them how to cry
Don’t tell me that you wish you could have been there
Just be here now
Don’t let another day go by wishing
Don’t let the sun go down
Tell her that you love her
Don’t let another day go by
Take them by the river
Don’t ever wonder why

Moses Mccord Poem
I wish I was a clown so I could wear big shoes and act like a freak
and gain applause from those who don’t care if my face is cracking
as long as I have a heavy supply of candy to throw into the air
I wish I was a politician so I could tell big lies and act like a freak
and gain applause from those who don’t care if my face is cracking
as long as I have a heavy supply of money throw into the air
I wish I was a pop star, a movie star, an artist at his peak
Anything at all to be a justified freak
