My Father In Heaven

As I set on the porch
Looking at the clear blue sky
With the clouds rolling in
I can see you on one of those clouds
With a harp in your hands
Playing soft beautiful music
That's only played in Heaven.

I can imagine the beautiful smile on your face
Looking down on me
Letting me know that you are free
Like a flying white dove
I can picture you standing at the pearly gates
And walking the streets of Gold
With your beautiful wings
You will never carry a heavy load
For, you are free as a bird.

My Grandson Alex

I remember when he was born
So precious and Dear
His hair was sandy brown
Like a fall brown leaf
Your little precious body and soft skin
Smelled like the scent of baby powder
The touch of his tiny hands
Was like touching a gentle lamb
His little hugs was of warmth and love
Like a little white dove.
He gleamed like the stars
That twinkled in the sky
His sweet tasting kisses
Are like the taste of honey
His teeth are as white as the
Crystals on a chandlier
He is so full of happiness
A bundle full of joy
He's my special grandson
That was sent from heaven.

Very Special Dad

Wishing you a Happy Birthday and Fathers Day
How lucky we were to have a special dad
With us his love was warm as sun long shone
You were the center of our life
Loved for the pure joy of love alone
Knowing well of your greatest treasure
But years of love you labored still.

We can't touch you since you are far away
Your words of love is always missed
I must write for you are not here
Father, you are farther from our eyes not our hearts
You are with us in many ways
With the passions of our yearnings
For you are in the Grace beyond the stars.

The time we had with you will never pass
Days of love will always last
Someday we will embrace
For we know one day again we will be face to face
You will always be in our hearts and love
For you was a very special Dad.

Lost Husband

We had our life together
The love we shared
Through the years
Our love shined like the stars
On this earth, our special love ended
But not in our hearts
You are gone now
And I am all alone
You are always with me
In my heart, when I walk or talk
For you was very special to me
I will cherish our love, dreams, and our closeness
And the tender heart you had.
I miss your smiling face
The sparkle in your eyes
And the love we once shared
I will always have you with me
Through out eternity
I will treasure everything we had together
Till I meet you again my love.

My Grandson Lucas

His soft lavendar shaded skin was delicate as silk, like petals from a rose.
Adorning blue eyes glazing into a calm blue sky,
A radiant smile like the rays of a bright yellow sun.
The hair that adorned the top of his head was as black as lumps of coal
Found along side the railroad yard, and sparkled at times as if diamonds specially
placed among his tiny round head.
The joy it brings to see his tiny arms stretch strenously to relect life being
placed in a frail tiny body.
A faint smell of an insanity flower garden seemed to fill the cold drab room.
Small tiny fingers attached to a fragile hand, grasping on to the soft blanket,
That wrapped around his thin body. His touch feels like a gentle lamb.
The butterfly kisses are like the taste of milk and honey flowing from a jar.
His grin broadens showing his teeth that are white as snow.
A glance at his elegant small feet with stubby short toes,
That would someday fill the shoes of a strong fine man.
He gleams like a ray of light,
Like the white snow glistens,
Precious and sweet he is as an angel from Heaven.

My Fathers Favorite Season

It is almost summer
Your favorite time of year
The flowers are sprouting
Green trees are in full bloom
The birds are chirping
The rivers are still
The creeks are rolling over the little peebles
The house is quiet, not a sound
But, the frogs hollering
Sitting on the porch overlooking the road
Watching the trucks and cars whizzing by.
The valley is so depth and wide
But, a beautiful site to see
Laughter of lilacs
Rainbows of roses
Songs of the robins
In late evening hours
You smelled the sweet scented breezes of honeysuckle
With the warm air around you

My Precious Memories of My Dad

Pretty smiles and big brown eyes
And a very special dad of mine
Big shoulders for you to lean and cry on
Always talking and laughing
And lending a helping hand
What a precious and loving dad he was
Had a heart of gold
Enough love for everyone.

The soft evening breeze
The warm air clusters around you
To smell the scent of honeysuckle
See the rainbows in the sky
Hear the birds sing
And smile with joy as he sat around
Wondering where was at.

In the Still of the Day

Walking by the still of the river
Waves rolling over the rocks
Walking barefoot
In the soft brown cool sand
The warm crisp air blowing
Your long hair around your face
Listening to the soft sounds
Of all the little creatures god has put on the earth
Looking at the bright sunset
In the clear blue yonder.

The Mullins Brothers

Two fine young boys
Is a bundle of joy
They are sweet and lovable
With each passing day
God granted us our gifts of love
God sent you both from above.

We love you both so much
For the miracles you both are,
We wished for you both for so long
Till God sent you both from afar.

Your all's eyes twinkles
Like the stars in the sky
Your smiles shine as the sun
They are brothers, that's having fun,
They are truly a Blessing
Sent from above.
